  1. It was a Prusa PLA+, nothing special. I believe using some of the newer filaments that can stand high temps it would have been OK. Graham
  2. Throttle pulley for the 90mm throttle body. The supplied one was huge and I was only getting about 1/2 throttle. I experimented with sizes until I got just the right movement. The 3D printed one lasted well, it could the 20 min track day sessions were fine, but the 30 min session it started to deform badly. I had to turn it to a new hole between sessions. Finally I sent the file off and had a CNC machined pulley made. Graham
  3. Do we have any idea what it sold for? I have no idea how you would value something in that condition. Graham

  5. Look at the license plate it picture 4. Perfect in the middle of total destruction. Graham
  6. I had an Escort MK 1 Twin Cam. The successor to the Cortina Twin Cam. AVO plate big wings. Loved that car. Graham
  7. Nice setup, but you will still have a tuning issue. Good luck finding a dyno operator that will tune them. But if you want to stay with carbs they are far better then Weber's Graham
  8. Interesting project. Very possible, I think a MegaSquirt would be a good place to start your research. Your going to need a crank and probably cam position information. Solve those problems and you will be well on your way. Graham
  9. History is always a good source of history. But the new Takoma had a BIG transmission issue, and I think that are replacing all V8 Tundra engines because of swarf left from a machining step. History would tell you that are both great, but maybe not. I would vote for the GM GMT800 models, LS1 none cylinder displacement, great transmission. I got my Tahoe as a tow vehicle, the wife make me take it an all road trips because of how smooth and conferrable it is. 178K miles and running strong Graham
  10. It's easy to look back and say "that was a good car". It's much more difficult to predict what current car will be good in 20 years 200k miles. Graham
  11. Looks interesting https://gyraline.com/
  12. Nothing major this year. New tires the Toyo's are 4 years old, probably Hoosier's A7's. Tidy up the dash area and get myself some more knee space. Most importantly find a new dyno shop, the EPA shut down my last place, I have a lead on a shop in Gatherberg. See if I can get a lower profile sump to improve ground clearance. Graham
  13. Johny Miller, think he was a Trans Am racer. Now runs trackside tires supplying track day and race tires. Great guy has a lot of tire knowledge. His track car is a c7 corvette, nice looking car. It has a yellow line about half way up the driver's door. That was the flood level, it's common for insurance adjusters to mark the cars. Graham

  15. Try using a smaller drill at an angle. If you get the angle right they will not spin. Go around from a few different sides. Then a sharp tap with the same size punch and you should have success. I have never had to grind off a rivet. Graham
  16. Check this out
  17. Metal based 3D printing might be the savior or the new CNC shops. Draw it up send the file a few days later the part arrives. Graham
  18. Talk to your local race and autox fans, I am sure there is a local alignment shop that will be friendly. Most box type shops will only do what's in there database. In Chicago we found Abe and Docs in Batavia. They thought it was cool and set the car up as I wanted. Graham

    New Battery

I use Braille AGM batteries, very light and super reliable. I have seen 3 Lithium batteries end up in flames, I would not put one in my car. https://braillebattery.com/ Graham
  22. If you want to go that route, let me know and I will talk to Matt the owner. Graham
  23. Is it already titled? I did mine about 7 years ago. Just used my local auto repair shop. It was very simple, he also did my trailer. Dakis Service Center, Kings Contrivance MD Graham
