  1. http://www.wirewheel.com/1969-Austin-Mini.html nice place for the Emergency cutoff.
  2. I will be attending. I will also be participating in the Sunday autoX and Monday track session. Who else is attending the event and participating which events? The log site is absolutely british is spreading information at the moment, so as far as i have been able to descern: Friday: Check In Reception FOOD(included) Saturday: Concours FOOD (+$17) Evening Dinner (+#30-37) Sunday AutoX (+$25) Scenic drive Evening Buffet FOOD (+$31) Monday Track Day(+$250) If people want to have a drive friday or saturday, we'll see what can be whipped up. I would prefer friday.
  3. For those who are attending the trackday, are u staying In Gettysburg till monday morning and driving to teh track, or moving accomodations closer to Summit Point? I'm debating the length of stay, get there thursday night (have our USA7s drive on friday?), Check out from gettysburg on sunday before the autoX, or staying thru tuesday morning? I'd like some input from other planned attendees of LOG 30. Also, Earlybird registration ends soon. postmarked forms by July 1st!
  4. or u could have gone to Vas Racing Suits in Huntington and dealt w/ victor.

  6. 1. much stiffer frame. front inboard suspension, rear independent suspension. I beleive the larger brakes are standard. 2. the CSR was designed with a more typical car dash. There were numerous complaints from customers for the traditional dash back. 3. blask is very rare on a se7en. Roman and Mondo's Ultralights are black. Outside of a motorcycle, u are now the smallest object on the road. even motorcycles ride higher than us. Visibility is key to safety. 4. power numbers are marketing numbers. unless its been on a dyno, it doesn't mean squat. on the homemarket(UK) these upgrades are pretty common, but the US has run primarily different engines for the last decade. Buy as much engine as u think u will be able to afford and can drive. If u autox w/ scca remember that >2.0L moves to E Mod. 5. I think there are enough benefits to the CSR if compared to an SV.
  7. VERY interesting. Wonder if it has the full weather set.
  8. i know on the Caterham-side that they have seen better HP numbers in the high rpm range by using a 4-2-1 collector setup. Do u know if that setup has been tried on the S2000 engines? Can Kevin's prep an exhaust like that? The v-band option is a really nice touch. That would add a bit of rigidity w/ the minimal exhaust mounts a se7en would run.
  9. they're probably in the aluminium.
  10. remember that u will have the attachment marks for teh clamshell wings. If u do decide to track the 7, much wider wheels and tyres will not easily fit with the cycle wing and stanchions.
  11. Mike-PM'd.
  12. it really appears that if the track was created 1.5x at its current size it would have been better off. the property they had to work with really limited them, i guess. doesn't mean we can't limit our own stupidity and make a go of it at 8/10ths for some fun if teh price and date right.
  13. i believe most of us were topped off at teh beginning of the trip from I-78 to milford. I did not need to fill up again til i got back to NY and anted to be on the safe side with standstill traffic in Staten Island.
  14. here is a sample video of what NNJR-SCCA does on the roadcourse. AutoX SCCA NJ Road Course May 9th 2009 Turbo Scion tC NT-01 on Vimeo
  15. i wished we stopped at that little airport that had the low flying aircraft sign and did the group photo there.
  16. LimeRock runs LMP cars. kart associations have turned away E-town. They never consulted anyone before breaking ground.
  17. if Massachussets allows cars to be titled as replicas to that car's year, its the way to go.
  18. told ya its E-Town. Check it out google maps. u can see the track in its 'final' construction stages. http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w276/Xero187/Road%20Racing/englishtown-raceway.jpg No racing organization sanctions races at that track due to safety concerns with its design. Its barely more than a glorified kart track. Luckily we have cars slightly bigger than a kart. there are videos online of this track. NNJR-SCCA does use the roadcourse as part its autoX/Solo series. The next dates for autoX on the roadcourse is October 2nd & 16th Mike, please find out what kind of deal E-town is wanting for the track.
  19. Martin, time to advertise. Get some vinyl FS lettering made up to be put on your 7. May be some that say "your butt here" w/ an arrow. or another that says "If you owned it, you wouldnt be daydreaming right now".
  20. i'll have him email it to me. I'll remind him when i see him.
  21. July issue. Gee Dub (sportscar writer/town crier) is our former Kart/Junior steward He said the picture w/ me and a cigar thru the full face helmet on course wasn't going to make the cut.
  22. meet up and gas at the station at exit 15 off I-78@ 9:45?
  23. Tom G Arya/Mazda E Bruce'n'Nancy other Tom(Michigan transplant) I'm not on the 7s mailing list so if anyone can send one out, maybe they check that more frequently. I know Ken G doesn't check in here.
  24. uh, baloney;). I see a Duratec and oil cooler. Perhaps wide-track aero wishbones? nice pick up. I would recommend u have the rear fenders and aluminum guards clearbra'd ASAP.
  25. U need to find Bruce and Nancy. I think his attitude was the worst that could happen would be that leaves/stays and I have more time for a se7en. spend the money on a school if u can't find a 2wd car cheap. try to learn and teach people on my AWD cars didn't leave much room for error when stalling.
