  1. talk about a straight well paved road with no traffic! not going to find one of those here on the east coast.
  2. Steve, save your strength. Don't wear yourself out by polishing Both cars to that mirror finish. :jester::cooldude: See you shortly. Tom
  3. Not a problem. I have a few extra pair if needed, but they are more worried about belts than the arm restraints. Tom
  4. Very nice, Shane. Now just make sure you position your car to get the correct tongue weight. Ask me how I know. :ack: Tom
  5. This is more likely the case. Tom:jester: http://res.cloudinary.com/snapyeti-production/image/upload/c_limit,h_540,q_30/v1384560954/wibpnydr8zn5z7mbnhwi.jpg
  6. Great job! Got to love anytime that many 7's get together. All those crazy people in one place:jester: You've laid down a good challenge. We'll see if the East Coast guys can match your success. :flag: Tom
  7. If you mean where will we leave our cars at night, we usually leave them right in the Paddock area. The track is patrolled by security and Member day events are not like a typical open track day. We always leave our cars, helmets, Hans devices etc. when we go to lunch and there has never been an issue. We can look into possible inside storage, but Croc might have some ideas. Tom
  8. Not even close Mike. It had to be your friend in the parking lot at the LOG trackday.:rofl::rofl: Tom
  9. Emails have now been sent to all drivers and non drivers who responded with email addresses. If you have not received an email then let Mike or I know and we will try again. If you have questions, PLEASE ask them. If you are unsure of something you can be certain that others are also unsure and you will be helping us clarify any concerns. This event is about having fun, meeting other Seven owners, using our cars in a safe environment as they were designed to be used. And again having more fun. It is entirely possible that Mike and I have overlooked something from the perspective of a person not familiar with NJMP or our gathering. Again, Please let us know and we will try to provide a clear answer. Less than 4 weeks to go now! Tom
  10. Mike, Questions are good. The Seven's will all run together in the USA7s run group, except for the one novice driver at this point who will run with the green group to learn the track, car control, passing etc. We are paying for 2 trackdays. However, one of our group is only coming in on Saturday, so they will only pay for Saturday. Karting is separated and that option is available to all. you will pay only the Karting fee not a trackday fee for sunday. Breakfast and Lunch are NOT included in the Karting fee. No guest fee is required for Sunday as Lunch and breakfast are NOT included as above. Tom
  11. Yes, the word is "FRUSTRATING" :deadhorse: NJMP uses Motorsportreg.com for it's registration process and it works pretty well usually. They have set up a registration for our group with all the event, and dinner options so that you can register and pay in one simple process. We tested it and unfortunately we found that it would not let us select Both track days at the same time. We thought that they could simply rectify this, but as of this afternoon it's still not cooperating. I think Mike want's to give it one more try or we will surrender and probably have everyone do it in two steps. Sorry for the delay. We didn't expect this issue. Tom

  13. Come on Steve, post up the Gardening Pics. :lurk::lurk::lurk:
  14. Just saw this on BlatChat. http://www.blatchat.com/t.asp?id=241087
  15. just got a response. Hi Tom, I have replaced the clutch slave cylinder and removed the lid to have a look at 3rd and 4th syncs but there in the rear part of the housing. so I ordered new ones from Caterham and its now all back together sort of, just making a new oil tank and moving some water piping and the oil heater/cooler. If its still not right when I test it there will be enough time to remove it and repair it. Caterham recommend a 80w oil. Chris Not a resolution but hopefully more info will be forthcoming. Tom
  16. Shane, NJMP should be the last of your thoughts right now. Keep your focus on your daughter and family needs. We'll keep her in our prayers. Tom
  17. I just posted on Blatchat to see if the problem was ever identified or fixed. Will let you know if they respond. Tom
  18. I found this recent thread on Blatchat. Don't know that it answers your question. But it seems that he has a similar issue with a new six speed. http://www.blatchat.com/t.asp?id=241618 Tom
  19. The Caterham guys often use Nylon bolts to hold the rear wings on instead of steel so that if you do hit something the nylon bolt breaks and does not tear out the rivenuts in the body. We also only use about 5 of the holes instead of all of them to make it easier to sacrifice the wing and not the bodywork. Just a thought. Tom
  20. Shane, with 14 caterhams, we probably still don't have as many cubic inches or horsepower combined as just you and Mario have. :svengo: I've always heard that bigger is better. :jester: Tom
  21. Got it Roman! So we now have 2 Stalkers, 2 Superformance S1s, 14 Caterhams and 1 WCM Ultralight. That makes 19 sevens for the track. Everything is set on the planning end. We are still having issues with the Motorsportreg registration, trying to get all the track and dinner options to list properly, but Mike thinks that it will be sorted out this week and we will send out the link to those who responded. Thanks for your patience. Tom
  22. Sorry it's taking so long to get the registration info to you guys. We are just waiting for the track to get back to us with the cost of the Thursday night BBQ. The initial quote was not acceptable and Mike and I have asked them to rework their numbers. :toetap05: We are hoping that they get the info to us tomorrow so that we can complete and send you the link for registration. Hang in there. Won't be long now til the :party:starts. Happy Memorial Day!! :flag::flag: Tom
  23. I've seen Croc in a bathing suit. He doesn't have legs that nice.:ack: Trust me. :smilielol5: Tom
  24. Somehow I've been tarnished with Kitcat's reputation. I object!!! :boxing: Kitcat is a very good driver, he just likes to run on the dirt for some reason.:jester: As for track record, I think the guys with the big hp and skill have a better shot at that. My car is very capable, but the driver is a bit limited. :willy_nilly: Tom
  25. If you keep it low, say 50 or so feet, maybe at turn 7 off the track or over on the straight coming off the bowl, by the flagger station. You wouldn't be over the track, and you could keep it low enough that no one would know. If you're talking about a view of the whole track, then No, you'd have to get too high and with the airport right there, I agree that that's a no go. But I like the way you think. A shot from the flag station on the front straight with us all lined up on track would be a great end of day shot. Especially with the low sun angle coming from turn one. Tom
