2012 Brunton Classic Stalker with Stalker Tilt Trailer

We are in the process of moving from North Florida closer to the beach on the East Coast of Florida (beginning of the sub-tropics) in the months ahead and am contemplating the possible sale of my much loved 2012 Brunton Classic Stalker with a 3.8l supercharged engine and is titled and licensed in Florida. The car only has 3700 miles and has brand-new Toyo R888R tires, newly installed 5-point G-Force racing belts with a December 2017 date code, and has had several trips to the Stalker factory here in Florida to get it running and performing magnificently by the very skilled hands of Scott Minehart, owner of Stalker Cars. The signing of a listing contract for our home today and the thought of losing my 4 car garages has me thinking that I may have too many toys for the beach (I know that comment is close to total blasphemy).

Anyway, we will be out of town and in the mountains overlooking a beautiful lake for the next few days trying to walk off our Thanksgiving gluttony and when I return, I will come up with some more information, detailed pictures and certainly some prices (someone is going to get a great deal on the prices). This was one of the very last Classic Bruntons to come out of the factory before the M-Specs and the builder is a nationally renowned furniture/cabinet maker (yes Martha, the dash/shift housing is African Bubinga wood because the builder could) who put on the first 2k miles and I have put on the rest. I will leave you with a couple of tantalizing pics and have further information early next week upon our return. Thanks for looking and Happy Holidays to all my fellow 7 lovers. Bob and Suave's evil twin stork, Lester Suave.

Don't do it Bob - you will regret it. You are too young to live with the old folks in the retirement villages on the East Coast of FL.

Mike, you are unbelievably perceptive and scarily omniscient. I am thankfully married to a slim, 6.5 year younger beautiful wife that will probably not let me slow down much. Bob

Suave is shaving his tail feathers in protest and is preparing to fly backwards all the way to FL to convince you to not sell the Storker. :svengo:

Well, no actually. I was going to hop the Southwest Airlines flight to Tallahassee and take Bob out for a few too many drinks at Proof Brewing Co to make him see the realities of life - he will be bored without a Stalker garage toy.

Or, to quote Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca: "You will regret it. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your life:)" (And worse, you wont always have Paris....).

Kitcat, Suave, xcarguy and croc, you are making this MUCH more difficult to contemplate. I really LOVE the Storker and the Storker tilting drive-on trailer but am trying to somewhat downsize from a home with 4 car garages to maybe 2 or 3 car garages. I didn't mention the two trikes (Harley Tri Glide Ultra with the new M8 engine and Can-Am Spyder F3S with a 115hp Rotax 3-cylinder engine) that are also tucked into my garages with a folding trike trailer (Drop-Tail) to transport them if necessary. Sheesh, a trailer for the Storker and one for the trikes. I feel like I have had my thumb on the scales of conspicuous consumption! Oh what fun it has been :party:Here's looking at you kid

Stop being a pussy. You have only a fraction of my toys and I don't complain about having that many. I even added to them with one extra this week. (oops :o) You just have to find a house with a 4 car garage and leave the wife's car outside. It all about asserting your manhood! :cooldude:

You love your Stalker more than your [insert word]!:jester:

Yeah...what Croc said. Keep the car already!!!! For heaven's sake man, think of your sanity! Life without a Storker is like life without [yep, insert that word right here]. :toetap05:

Man, shame is a powerful tool unless it used against our politicians who do not seem to respond to those mores very often:smash: I am going to keep it for the near future and have actually pre-registered for the final autocross event in this region. There will be zero chance of rain and the day will start at 50 degrees and warm to only 73-74 which makes for a lovely day in the South. I will be 11 weeks status post left hip surgery and I am ready to slalom! Hey, quit calling me a wussy. I am going to keep this snortin' fun-mobile and see what mischief I can get into without losing my freedom:ack: Thanks one and all for talking me out of my temporary insanity. Bob

Several years ago i met a gentleman who spotted me across a parking lot and ran over. In his 20's he'd had a series I Lotus overseas. He sold the car when he returned to the US and has forever regretted it...

Excellent news! Since you are no longer a wussy and you are through the aftermath of your hip operation, I am sure you will get out there and kick some butt! :flag:

Totally jealous with that FL weather forecast!

Some years ago I promised my long suffering wife that if she gave me the green light to buy a new BMW M3, I'd sell my Caterham. I sort of kept my promise: I bought the M3, but ended up keeping the Caterham and getting rid of the M3:). As nice as it was (and it was very nice!), it just didn't engage me the way the Caterham did, especially on the track. I am sure won't keep the Caterham forever, but as long as I can climb in and out over the roll cage, and can afford to drop massive amounts of money on maintenance, its a keeper.

Kitcat, you are my idol. I've watched this years video many times and you are so spry that you can get up and over the roll cage and into your seat faster than most can get in a normal car. And I know how old you are. :svengo: I just hope that I can still get into my car when I'm your age. :jester: Since we are confessing, I too lied to my wife. I told her I'd sell the Yellow Caterham when I bought the Orange one, but I just can't bring myself to sell it. Oh well, it gives her something to bitch about other than my growing bourbon collection. :deadhorse:

Glad you are keeping your car. I regretted selling my Elise. I have the means to buy another one, but the one I had was special (to me) and cannot be replaced.

Mike, It is kind of funny but my chassis is #156 which is 3 chassis older than yours and built in 2012 as well. Although my Storker is exceptionally beautiful, it really does not hold a candle to your very tricked out #159 with that LS3 engine. Unfortunately, I don't have the mechanical skills to have built one from scratch and if I attempted it would likely have resulted in suboptimal end results.
