KiwiBirkin Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Couple more of Grace on my fav road before winter set in and the the road was un-drivable after the Feb 11 Earth Quake. http://i660.photobucket.com/albums/uu326/Hotdognz/bits%20and%20pieces/PIctures/LotusSunday19-09-2010067.jpg http://i660.photobucket.com/albums/uu326/Hotdognz/bits%20and%20pieces/PIctures/LotusSunday19-09-2010094.jpg One from futher down the NZ South Island at the Benmoore Dam spillway http://i660.photobucket.com/albums/uu326/Hotdognz/bits%20and%20pieces/PIctures/WanakaLotusTrip54.jpg
blubarisax Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Hey, that's me at NJMP last weekend!!! Note the extra tall roll bar! Looks like I could have made it a little shorter.
Croc Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Hey, that's me at NJMP last weekend!!! Note the extra tall roll bar! Looks like I could have made it a little shorter. Really nice pic! I dont think there was much room to make the roll bar shorter given the broomstick test has to adequately clear between windscreen and roll bar. I think you are safer the way you have it.
Boxologist Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 broomstick points are the rollbar and top front member on the space frame under the nose cone. The windscreen has no structural intergrity so it should not be used.
jimrankin Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Was #15 back at the trailer being retuned because you dusted him on track...? LOL.
twobone Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 We did get out on the track. At this event, you put your car into the free car show and then on Sunday they do a bunch of parade laps. Its fun taking my son around Mosport. It has lots of big elevation changes. The parade laps are slow, but if you drop back you can let it rip for a bit. The turn out this year was a lot less than other years. I hope the trend does not continue!

twobone Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Its me and my car....I only wish I had taken the picture
Sean Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Its me and my car....I only wish I had taken the picture Uh... how could you have done that?
twobone Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Sean....I mean, I wish I had the where-with-all to capture that scenery from that vantage point. Then again, I was busy staring at the lovely rear end of the BRG Esprit in front of me
Sean Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 I like the photo! Your friend captured a great shot there. Be careful, though - staring at nice rear ends while driving is dangerous! :seeya:
westy turbo Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Great pics guys!!not the greatest but dont have another decent one, http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o217/tigraturbo/P8220201.jpg
MHKflyer52 Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Westy Turbo, Nice looking 7 and I take it your Australia from the decal on the boot. Post up some other photos if you would as everyone likes to see what others have built and it gives a lot of us good ideas for our cars.
JohnCh Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 I take it your Australia from the decal on the boot. I believe that's a map of the Nurburgring -John
