it's been like 2 months since i last fired up FRANKN7 :(

Garage is too cramped with the vette and the seven and all the other crap to even go into it.

Nose is half stripped of paint, and she needs lots of TLC. And did I mention it's damn cold?!

I think I'll roll both cars out this weekend and fire them up just to smell the fumes and hear 'em run

I am feeling it too. My car is about a 1/2 hour away with a big hole in the block and I am hiding the replacement more it the basement and can't play.

Summer will be here soon.

I feel your pain. I could not get my se7en out of the garage if I wanted to. Snow drifts in the drive are too deep. Pray for an early spring. Russ

Santa left a new flywheel under the tree, so I'm out in the garage every nite this week until 9 or 10:00. I Just add another layer. If I'm lucky I can open the garage door this weekend and let some of the 21* warm air in, while I'm droping in the motor/trans. This is perfect weather you do not even have to hold the wrench, it just sticks to your paw. But it is a pain when your air tools ice up and will not work.

The battery died on me since it's been too long since I started it. There is definitly a current draw somewhere. I'll try to trace it back when I start putting all my car's christmas gift in her! :)

I miss riding in it for sure. But even is there was no snow everywhere it's still way too cold for a heater-less car. (-10c average)

3 more months and I'll be time to let her out! :)

You guys need to embrace your inner child. Go out and eat a handful of snow, careful of the yellow and brown kind. Now this important, find a winter vehicle that gives you as much fun as the seven and go play in it. Here is my choice:

Yup, Mazda rags on me, but my hobby is 12 month friendly :D

I just put the engine & back in, I hope for no oil leak this time. I'm just making some small changes to the 7 now as it is ice cold out and 8" of snow here.

I used my mower to mow the snow from the drive way today.

Can I have some of the snow, please? I am at Lake Tahoe for skiing and today it was raining at 8000 ft. Fortunately some old snow left over, so it is not a complete waste.

How about I send you some of our sub zero temperatures instead. That will change that rain to snow in a hurry. The lows last night for all of Colorado varied from zero to -20F.

Today I can get a 2010 inspection sticker on the S1. An old buddy from jr. high school is my inspection guy, I bring coffee and he does the rest. Only problem is all the salt the Ambler Boro has laid down for our big storm yesterday, one inch of snow, they must have a big stock pile.

And it is in the low 20's and windy. I'm not up for freezy my ass off again, I did that yesterday at work. Wed. will be 55 .

Someone did a nice job on that snow vehicle. I hope they get to use it a bit.

Steve - a lot of that salt on the roads up there comes from Bonaire.

Tom thanks for your kind offer, I'll wait it out.

Bruce, I would like to come down and get a heat on in Bonaire. I would like to see that salt in Bonaire, not Southern Ave. LOL !!!!!

Come on Spring !!!!!

I got my car going yesterday to make sure it still runs, tires not going square, etc. Four weeks in the garage not moving and it started first time so I was pretty chuffed. Just ran it around an imaginary track in the very large NYC ferry parking lot 4 blocks away from me because they have not salted that lot. At 30 degrees I froze my face off though. One oops moment - I found a patch of black ice in a shaded part of the lot and spun the car instantly, using light throttle.

I was not the only one there. Another guy with his Cobra replica was doing the same thing - we ended up at a nearby diner for coffee to compare frost bite, chat about cars, complain about NJ DMV, etc.

I am not taking the car out again for a while - this morning the edges of the Hudson River are frozen and the Morris Canal inlet has frozen over.

I am so ready for spring. Bring it on!

Water froze in the house over night. I broke out the Benzomatic torch on the cooper line outside. Once water flowed on the outside I zip tied a bunch of towels to the pipe and I threw the 30 year old brittle pipe insulation away. Took 5 hours for the temperature in the attic to get above freezing so that the water flowed again. A nice, hot shower was great even if it happened at 1pm.

The Megabusa is still in the garage with the car cover on it. The garage doesn't have heat, but it's insulated. I figure it's definitely above freezing in there.

Guess I can't complain about our dreary weather... foggy, 40s-50s. But that cold dampness goes to the bone with me;(

Managed to take it out for a spin to the gas station last week. Good thing is that January is really about our only "bad" month (unless you count July & August when it's in the 100s but that's what early mornings are for).
