Black Hole
Automotive Restorations in Stratford CT (not to be confused with New England Classic Cars right around the corner in Stratford) added this 1964 Lotus 7 powered by a pre-Xflow Cosworth on their site and on Hemmings. Expensive at $43,500 but it is stated to have been fully restored in 2010. I have been to their shop and they always have nice high quality cars: http://www.automotiverestorations.com/sales/home/1964-lotus-super-seven-s2 http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer/lotus/super-seven/1871753.html Jay
Croc
A 90s era (I think) Caterham in Stamford CT. A road car set up for track by the looks of the slicks and the AIM Solo bracket on the dash. Lots of bits and pieces - weather kit, clams, original 'wagon wheels'. http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=11706&stc=1 Up for sale is a Lotus/ Caterham Super 7. The Super 7 comes with a 5 speed transmission. It is also fitted with a Dedion suspension. It has a number of upgrades that have made it ready for track days. This was at the Auction America Fall auction event but passed in. Reserve was $26-32k but obviously was below that. Vin looks like a state assigned one as it does not match up with Lotus or Caterham so no help there to identify. It says it has a 289 engine but it doesn't look like any 289 that I have? Looks like the usual Ford Cortina engine which is appropriate for its replication year. It has elements of the Stuart Taylor Motorsport replicas plus it has a number of Caterham parts. Black Hole
The seller states its a 1996. He also says he has 13" Caterham road wheels. I assume the wagon wheels pictured are 16" so there may be a third set of wheels. No engine pictures in the ad but he sent me some very tiny ones that show a 1700 super sprint and he says it has a 831C block. Wit was sitting at $15K for a while so I was thinking of bidding. Price appears to be moving up now. I am traveling for two weeks and asked him if he objected to me bidding but not transacting the deal until the end of the month. No answer on that one. Kitcat
Croc: The Dennis Bruton Super Stalker is for sale by Gator Motorsport in Indy. They have a number of other interesting cars, including some new Zenos and 7 or 8 new '16 and '17 Lotus Evora 400's. They are also enthusiasts and sponsored a track day a month or so ago at Putnam Park outside of Indy that I attended. They brought a new Zenos, which matched up nicely on the track w/my Cat. Didn't see any Evora 400s out on the track, so no idea how sporting they really are. They cost a lotta $ but I'd love to have one!
Croc
Hi Mike - I had heard of the Gator Motorsport as I think they were the guys selling that insane 300hp S1 but I know nothing about them beyond that. I do expect that Stalker is a very well set up car as it would carry the best of everything. Would not mind studying that car in person.

Cant wait to hear what effect, if any, the reduced hp has on your speed/enjoyment as compared to your CRS. I think the R300 is on par with my Cat Superlight w/Zetec SVT, with regard to power?
