I rode in a SuperStalker during one of the track day events at Putnam Park. Looked over and saw 135 on the speedo near the end of the long straight before turn 1. We were in traffic and the driver was not driving in anger...!!! I think some 3.8L SuperStalker owners have clocked over 155 at Gateway in St. Louis. 100 comes up real quick while merging onto Interstates in my 2.8L Stalker. Jack

This car is at Panther Racing, the guy that built it is a Machinist for them. A friend of mine went out and looked at this car last year. It is a piece of Art. The detail doesn't do it justice in his pictures. Last year he told me that he was trying to sell it to Sam Hornish for $150k+ I bet that he doesn't get close to that, nor meet his reserve.

Thanks....That helped a bunch...Good runs. Glad to see that you are enjoying the SuperStalker. Dale has a new one on order. Jack

I bought a used '99 last October that only had 33K miles. It is nearly showroom condition and have less that $5K in it. We drive it as much or more as the Se7en. Heater, radio, convertible and AC....Can't beat it..!!!! They are about as bullet proof as you can get and still takes a thrashing with ease. Jack -
Hey Scott, This is something other than your SuperStalker on the video. Jack

Hey Loren, While you are on a roll you better run out and buy a lottery ticket...!!! Great finds..!!! Jack

One is street legal. The other two were used as Rent-A-Race Car cars at VIR. I would think the Street legal car would be more valuable than the other two just because it has been through the BMV process and is registered as a 1962 replica Lotus 7. Jack

So what is your Tow Vehicle and Trailer look like?
jbanker replied to MHKflyer52's topic in General Sevens Discussion
7evin, About 500 pounds plus what ever the weight of the junk I have in the tool box. I generally put heavier stuff (floor jack, tools and air tanks) in the back of the truck. Tie downs, car cover and light stuff in the box. Jack -

Hey Bill, You did a nice job on that trailer. How long did it take for you to build it? Jack -
Roman, The trailer was built by Dennis Brunton who also builds the Stalker and SuperStalker V6. Several of our Stalker owners have purchased one of them from him. I think they are all pretty happy with the product. Jack

Thanks Martin, I added the 24 x 30 garage for additional workshop and boat storage. I still need more space or fewer hobbies...!!! Wife is voting for fewer hobbies. Jack -
Evil, I made a post on "what is your tow vehicle". My trailer is also shown on that post. Jack

I started out with an enclosed Cargo Express, 7 x 14, V nose, tandem axle, load leveler with electric brakes. Nice rig but last years gas prices got to me, so I said screw it... I had Brunton Automotive build me an open trailer specifically for Se7ens and I love it. Single axle, tilt bed and added the tool box. I then had a towing cover made for the car. Hardly know it's back there and I can move the trailer around by hand. I can keep it in the garage and park the car on it when I am not driving or trailering. I mounted a ball on a post and mounted that to the garage floor. You don't need to release the locking pin on the tilt bed while parked...Just drive on and go over center for park. Back up and drive off after going back over center. Hydraulic cylinders keep the bed tilted unless you have it latched. My tow vehicle is a Dodge Dakota, 4x4, quad cab. Overkill for the little trailer but necessary for the enclosed Cargo Express. I could easily tow with my wife's Toyota Hylander. -
Hank, Congratulations... Read it all...!!! I know the feeling and it just never ends. A 5 minute run to the corner grocery now takes 20 minutes. I finally ended up with nice, glossy business cards with a photo, my name and web site info. This helps speed up some of the stops. Jack

Dean, yes it is an older Stalker kit that was originally set up for a 2.8/3.4L GM V6. The owner is in the process of converting it and everything looks very promising. He has had it running and now in the final finishing stage. Jack

We have one running in Iowa with a turbo charged Solstice. Initial results are very positive. Jack

Like Skip, I have both a Se7en and a Miata and I would not part with either one of them. The Se7en has no top, radio or heater. The Miata has all that plus A/C and a reasonable trunk for longer trips. The best part is they both handle great..!!! The Se7en fulfills my need for raw fun and the Miata fulfills the need for comfortable fun, especially when it is really cold and rainy. I drive both 12 months out of the year. Jack

Morgan, I believe that could be Dominick Frakes. I think he just purchased the car that was built two or three years ago in Carson City, NV by Tim Anaclerio. The car has very few miles on it and glad the new owner is taking advantage of using the Stalker the way they should be. I don't know if Dominick is familiar with this site nor do I know how to make contact with him. Jack

Nicely done Hank...!!! I do like the raspy, raw sound of a high strung bike engine. You will have tons of fun with this Se7en. Jack

Gary, "Stalker quote-- Looks wise – well, I suppose it’s an acquired taste. It seems a bit homely sitting between the other two cars. And when I’m running it hard, I think it sounds more like angry yard equipment than anything else...." It's that odd fire GM 3.8 V6 that gives it a funny sound. The 2.8 and 3.4 60° V6 is an even fire motor and much more pleasing to the ear....I love my little 60° V6..!!!! My recently acquired '99, gen II, Miata is fun to drive as well. I drove one at the National Tour at Peru two years ago and decided that I had to have one. They can be well prepared for SCCA Solo 2 CSP class. However, the fun meter goes up a couple notches in an under weight, over powered Se7en. You are correct regarding turning heads..!!! Jack

Alaskossie, There are two Stalker V6's being built in Alaska; one in Fairbanks by Richard Kemp and another in North Pole by Sterling Muth. I don't think either of these individuals are active on this forum. Jack

The first time my wife and I ever went to Deals Gap area, we hooked up with Paul Whittle. Paul rode his Busa and we followed along in our Stalker. This was in 2004 before Paul had his SuperStalker was on the road. We have made several trips to the area since then and found the bike crowd to be very friendly.
