The second layout had me laughing as I own some of that HEAVY GERMAN STEEL and have had some members of the local Porsche Club complain and have even protested to the local club president when I have shown up with my 7 at a club sponsored Autocross as they all know that they will have to really push and drive their P-cars very well to get FTD and yes I have been a member since 1970 so they let me run my 7 as most of the members don't have as many years in the club. :d I VOTE for the second Logo.

Hi Bruce, Try Associated Shippers 1-800-489-8984. I call around to get a quote to ship an engine and they had the best prices and delivery times. I shipped just over 475 lbs about 1500 mile for under $250.

How about "ITSA7"

Yes they are crazy....Just last week I read that some guy flying a wing suit is going to try and land one without the use of his parachute. Apparently he has a whole team of people working with him to build a ramp that he will touch down on to help him land.

Hi DB6, Looks like you might be hearing your shock spring rubbing on your frame from the looks of the photo you posted. The other option you have is to move the bolt hole over about a half inch. Just an observation.

The Clamshell Fenders really make the car. Clamshells over cycle fenders......loose the cycle fenders

Boy all you guys with expensive steering wheels. I have a cheap ($48.00 from NAPA) Pilot GT steering wheel (330.2mm a bit large, 13" for us from the USA or math challenged) on my 7 that has a simi-hard rubber grip that dose get hot when sitting in the sun and gives good tactile feel with or without gloves. Looking for a smaller wheel to replace what I have but still have not found what I want or should I say want to spend. http://www.usa7s.org/aspnetforum/upload/1901870559_DSCN1805.JPG

Hi Gert, My understanding is that the SPA Wet Chemical System work much better than the Halon systems especially if the car is still moving when it is activated plus it provides reflash protection that the Halon system dose not due to well once the gas has dispersed.

I know it would be a disaster........but would be the lowest 7 on the road.....and besides I bet Janscrawford knows the owner of the trailer or at least the truck driver.

I like the temp garage photo (second photo) and the car seems to have a good home with an owner with a since of humor. Have fun and enjoy your ride.

5 years old. The goggles and hair are great along with the smile that you obviously have after every ride in your 7. Edited 12/25/08 at 10:19am By the way Happy Hol;idays to all.

So what is the status of your 7 now that winter is here? Well I will start; My clone 7 is hard down for the time being waiting for a new engine again, second engine lasted a total of 60 miles due to loss of oil pressure. Still runs but smokes like crazy and has this knocking sound. What can I say as I rebuilt it myself but did not replace the oil pump as it was working well before the tear down  trying to save money and time. :cuss: :banghead: Now looking at maybe a complete up-grade from a four cylinder to a six cylinder if it will fit without too much in the way of modifications to the frame and trans tunnel for the different trans. Oh well it is suppose to be winter here in SoCal, It’s raining today, :7rain: and the holidays are fast approaching us all so time and money are being diverted from my 7 as I suspect everyone else’s so HAVE A HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON and maybe Santa's wife will let me get a NEW ENGINE for my 7 before the end of the year and paint and maybe a top to keep the sun off my bald head. :7frog:

That is funny but also very very DANGERIOUS for a couple of reasons. 1. Power in a fine dust blown form is very explosive and a hair dryer can ignite it with the heating element. Think what happens in a grain sylo every once in a while......BIG BOOM......no more sylo. 2. Wife’s and girl friends have a way of getting back in more than one way and if that gal is anything like my other half I would be calling the local hospital and making a room reservation and forget about getting any sugar in the near feature.

Now this is COOL. Maybe one of us should due this to their car. Mazda I think this Datsun will beat your 7 and a hole lot of others.  http://www.opb.org/programs/ofg/videos/view/56-Electric-Drag-Racing

Another give away that it is a simulation (Video game) is that their are no fluid leaks on the airframe as one of the main fuel cells in the F-15 is located in that area. Another give away is the ejection seat flame / exhaust from the rocket motor looks nothing like that in real life. (I know from 1st hand experience.) Another is the lack of lettering / numbers (squadron markings) / panels etc. plus the position of the pilot is not correct at all due to the harness that attaches the pilot to the ejection seat in the F-15. Just a neat game simulation from my point of view. Edited Dec 9, 2008 Here is a great spoof that has made the rounds and even seems more realistic. Look at the shadows to see that it is a well done fake.

Great story Randall. You will definately fit in with this group. I have to agree with S1Steve you have one fine looking 7.

I don't think it will work very well as it is not that flat in Antarctica (spent 4 years in McMordo Station with NSFA) and besides what happens when they come to a big craves or have to ascend a mountain slope......the ride down the other side would be fun maybe.
