    I have a red light on the dash that will come on when I first start the car and then go off after a minute or less. Any RPM over idle would make it go off. Recently, it has come on at lower RPM and go off at higher speeds. What is the light telling me?

    It's December 27, not raining and 74 degrees, I had go out for a short blat. Could waste the day.

    It depends on which motor you have. My crossflow has a breather pipe only (no PCV) and I have a hose to a catch can. I was curious if anything was being pushed out. Nothing so far I'm glad to report.

    +1 on the clamping is better than welding. I have my exhaust exiting behind the rear wheel. pointing sideways. I haven't experienced any fumes when doorless. I have noticed some since I have made some doors, but not too bad.

    Oh, and I forgot to mention, today is my wedding anniversary. Good thing I ordered flowers for my wife BEFORE I went out.

    Oh, I forgot to mention about the @#$%^%$# leaves. It took a wrecker to pull the car up to the pavement and I had it hauled home on a flatbed. There are a few scratches on the nose, I'll see what else may have been damaged when I get it on a lift.

    I went out to drive around N. GA. It is past leaf watching season, all the rain messed that up, but here are some signs on GA 180.

    I would say #3 for the front and what ever you think makes it look aggressive in the rear. Mirror image of the front?

    I tried the sheetmetal screw and ended up with a larger hole. So, with a long screw driver and a BFH I was able to remove the cap. Bonus, it came off without too many dings. Good to go. Thanks for the input.

    I had a front end vibration around 55 to 60 MPH, but it wasn't consistent. I pulled on the front wheels, top & bottom and got a clunk as if the bearing may be loose. How do I remove the dust cap to check the bearings out? I think the spindles are Triumph Spitfire.

    Late morning was a good time for a short blat. I've been fabricating doors to cut down the wind buffeting. I have a prototype for the driver's side so far. It's an improvement, but needs more work. I've got the passenger side in the works. I'll see what's different when I get out with it. I did notice today that I could smell exhaust at times. This is the first time I've noticed it. The ex-pipe is exiting behind the rear wheel and pointing to the side.

    Knock on wood, so far my crossflow hasn't been leaking since I redid the gaskets with good old Permatex #2.

    That would make them scary fast. No telling how it would handle, maybe like old school 911's.

    My 7 has stainless steel screwed to the rear wing. If you are going for something detachable you may think about sandwiching some metal between some soft material. The metal should prevent sharp stone edges from piercing the soft material and dinging your wings.
