    It's happened twice today and on more than one occasion before. I'm out running errands and I'm wearing a Sebring t-shirt which has "Mobil 1" on it. Someone will stop me and they have been using Mobil oils for yearssssssssss. Today I was looking for diesel motor oil as suggested in another thread and the parts guy was telling me it's the oil to use. I figure, if I make sure the level is good and change it as suggested, that should be good enough. So, is motor oil just motor oil?

    How much hotter is the ECU compared to the surfaces/components next to it? If you have an IR temp scanner it would tell you relative temperature differences. Also, vapor lock comes to mind.

    Yesterday the score was 21, three 7's made it to the Car Faire. Dave brought his track weapon, Pete (trikeman) with the older brother to my Cat. Dan's new build id in sick-bay and didn't make it. It was a good day for a car show, no rain. At least 286 cars were there of various age and make, including a 2017 Jag SUV.

    1turbo hit on something I was thinking about, voltage. Are the coils getting good voltage? I'm not sure if it should be battery v or if there is a ballast resister in the circuit.

    1) Heat issue- Is the header wrapped with insulating tape? It's helped on my 7 2) Hydraulic pressure increase- There are a few ways to accomplish this. A) Smaller bore with the same brake lever ratio B) Same bore and increase the leverage ratio of the pedal C) Booster This is just off the top of the head, fact checking welcomed.

    I would suggest looking over the car very closely to understand its' original condition. Signs of leakage and dirt built up. Since the car is basically new, you shouldn't see much. The more you get to know the car, the better you will know what it needs. Also, get ready for 20 questions every time you stop for fuel. Enjoy!!!
