  1. How is the car handeling with suspension changes.
  2. I installed an ISIS in a customer car. It works good but took forever to install close to 100 hours. There are several self canceling turn signal systems out there. I used this before and it works great. Very reasonable price and easy to install. http://www.signaldynamics.com/self-canceling-turn-signal-module/
  3. They make some really nice cars. I've seen several of the models they make. They appear to be very well made. They had several cars at Run and Gun a few years ago and they performed very well. The Nemesis has been on my radar for a few years. I think it would be a great track beast. A Subaru Boxster STI would be fun in there and would keep the CG low.
  4. Maybe the two sensors got swapped. It should run on just the primary one. Try swapping to the other sensor, and see what happens. Make sure the engine is warmed up good. It will not go into vtec if the engine isn't up to tempature.
  5. I don't know what that unit is. I don't use anything but the ecu from the s2k. I remove the immobilizer and hook up the wires needed to run the motor. You can keep the immobilizer but it complicates the install a bit.
  6. Like Busa I like the Rotrex supercharger, but it doesn't make as much power as a turbo. Heat is an issue with turbos and LSIS cars can be hot as it is. A good quality ball bearing turbo properly sized will give big power with very little lag. I just don't want the heat under the hood.
  7. I have had a trailer wrapped for my Turf company and it stays outside in the hot west Texas sun and it still looks good after 4 years. The nose cone will be the hardest thing to do. Someone that does it on a regular basis should make it look easy.
  8. Great looking car Busa. Very clean and far from average.
  9. Damn spell correct!
  10. I live in Texas and don't run front plate. I've never been pulled over for it here but some areas my not be as forgiving. I carry mine under my seat and just tell them there is no place to put. There is a company called flip plate. It uses a solenoid to fold the play under the car when parked but it flips on when the ignition comes on. Hot toddlers use them and toll skippers do too.
  11. That's funny. Sadly I think I do all those things. I guess I shouldn't have slept thru English class.
  12. Leo you looked like the Joker when you came back from that ride. Hair blown back and smiling from ear to ear. Glad you finally got to experience the thrill.
  13. I've been interested in the Boxster for awhile myself. I can afford the car just cant afford to keep it on the road. Renegade hybrids had developed a kit to install the Chevy LS engine in the Boxster and Cayman models. It a good way to keep all the enjoyment but lower the cost of ownership. He has a video on his website with a customer car with LS7 in it. It keeps the Porsche handling much more thrust and cheaper maintenance. I know this isn't what you were after. This is just info I had dug up while researching. Its a good alternative if you find a car the IMS has ruined the engine and the owner doesn't want to spend 15k for repairs
  14. Don't align the car with rod lengths. Align the car by pointing the tires in the same direction. You will never ever get a good alignment trying to get 16 bars the same length.
  15. pm me if you decide.
  16. Steve when adding that kind of power you always find the next week link. Clutch will most likely need an upgrade to handle the increase torque. Diff was the next weak link in our car. I went thru 4 diffs in one week with my first supercharged car during the One Lap of America. I upgraded to the STI diff and havent had issue since. Aloskessie We reduced compression ratio on 7evins car when he went with the Rotrex unit. We were assuming boost is boost. Well we later learned that isn't totally true. We talked to Jackson racing who was the importer for the Rotrex supercharger a few years ago. They did a lot of testing on their dry lakes car and found reduced CR wasnt needed. That the pulse wave from the supercharger and turbo it very different and that you could run a significant boost around 10-11 psi on a 11:1 CR with 93 octane fuel. So 7evin redid the engine with 11:1 and picked up about 60hp more. He currently is running 20lbs + boost on a 11:1 motor with e85 and 12lbs on pump gas.
  17. I have a customer looking for a used Ultralite S2K, If anyone sees one come up for sale let me know please.
  18. We use the Rotrex and love it. Its very quiet and compact. We built our own system, but TTS makes great stuff.
  19. Be sure to use a charge controller even with small panels. I had one that ruined a battery. Upon inspection the sp was putting out 18v. You can get a charge controller for low wattage for 20.00. It charges a constant voltage. Cheap insurance for expensive battery.
  20. It looks like the preferred attire for scooter drifting is Bermuda shorts and flip flops.
  21. I didn't think they were ever going to get the right front wheel off he hit for 20 sec to get the spinner off.
  22. What a radical change.
  23. Tire pressure is a big issue. 18-20lbs will improve the ride greatly. If you are running at 32-35 then your in for a harsh ride. Sounds like you need more caster 4-5 degrees will calm the the jitters the steering will be heavier but as you can tell you don't have to move the wheel much for the car to respond.
