  1. I will be at TWS in Texas. I will take photos to post as well.
  2. I bet your car is going to take a beating flat towed. I agree with others a small 2 wheel trailer will save you a lot of wear and tear on the 7.
  3. 7evin is in Southbend since this morning. He is finishing up a few odds and ends and double checking all the nuts and bolts. He has a to install the intercomm and start resting up. Most of the competitors will start to arrive tonight and tommorrow morning to get prepared for everything. Hopefully he will snap some pictures of some of the competition and Mojito all stickered up.
  4. Dont forget 7evin is just outside of Atlanta with the new 1 Lap Car he will be burning up the tracks and roads in the area I am sure.
  5. Welcome aboard Martin I am an active FF/paramedic in Tx. I grew up racing motorcycles and love working on anything mechanical in nature. It seems to be a common thread with FF on this group. FF/bikes/cars/7s
  6. Glad she has a new home. Hope all works out so that you can go topless in the near future.
  7. I am jealous, that is going to be a fun trip. I lived in North Yorkshire Dales of the UK for 3 years the scenery is postcard beautiful. We made several trips north which looks much the same. Since owning a 7 I have always wanted to go back and drive some of those roads. Good luck on the trip pray for no rain. L
  8. Sweet cant go wrong with Black.
  9. I ran the Falken RT 615 and really like them. Price is usually pretty decent on both. I know that Grassroots Motorsports has ranked the Falken #1 for tire catagory for the last 2 years.
  10. Mondo sent you an email. Give me a call I will see if I can get you sorted.
  11. Been using the same setup with no problems for thousands of miles. I do mount a little rubber washer between the fan and radiator to help keep chaffing down. Those little placstic strips seem to hold pretty well.
  12. If you have a remote check valve that should be mounted vertical with the hose on the bottom. This allows the valve to be open and vent tank pressure. In case of a rollover the valve shuts and prevents spills. Mounting them horizontal or upside down keeps them from working properly.
  13. What engine you running? I am guessing turbo something.
  14. Congrats on the new car I havent seen it so send some pics.
  15. Just what my agent said.
  16. State Farm agreed value coverage no restrictions, just have to have another vehicle for daily transport. 460.00 per year full coverage with 500k liability. Took all of 5 min. with my agent. Of course like most others I have home and 3 autos with them. My agent said they will not cover if you do not have the other policies. If you walk in off the street and only want that policy they will say no thanks. They do it for their customers. That is a reason why I am their customer.
  17. Mandurth it is our plan to fill the wings with some polyurathane foam. We just are running out of time for it now. The company made us a good deal on the aluminum wings since the carbonfibers had so much flex. I have my new car to build which will get wings too. So they arent going to be going to waste.
  18. Still doesnt change the fact that we cant move the radiator over.
  19. The radiator can not move to the drivers side due to the frame and lower neck interferance. Plus the tubing would have to go down to 1.5" to fit there. This would really restrict flow. It doesnt appear to be an issue with temp so far. We have close to 800 miles on it in the last few weeks no over temp issues yet. But the weather has been very good. We will see what the 100 deg days does to it.
  20. Flush mount LED from Lambert Enterprises. Previously on Mojo. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1155815281_taillights.jpg LED lights from Watson. They can be made flush mount as well. But due to time constraints 7evin went with the housings that mount on the outside of the body. The Lambert lights have 96 LEDs each very bright. The Watson lights have like 32 still pretty bright. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/363715145_taillights mojito.jpg
  21. Kevin and Michelle are going to need all the support they can get. They should be well worn by VIR. I will be meeting them at TWS and the drag strip to cheer them on and lend a hand if needed. People can go to the http://www.onelapofamerica.com look at the route and stop by the track the day they are there and cheer them on. It is nice to have some fans in the crowd.
  22. All the sponsorship stickers are being made right now. I am sure 7evin will post some picks with it in race trim. He is finishing the front wing mount and swapping out the CF wings for aluminum. The CF wings just are not stiff enough. We are going to foam fill them and try again but the aluminum will be going on for test n tune at TWS this weekend. That is if he doesnt die from sleep deprevation. I know he has been going at it 48 hrs straight as of this morning. So much to do so little time.
  23. This was the first time my wife has ridden in the car for more than 15 min. I was very concerned that she was going to be a miserable nervous wreck. She did do alot of bar grabbing and arm grabbing first half of the day. Once she learned that I wasnt going to go off the road in the corners she began to relax and enjoy. I had to go thru the curves at a much slower pace than what I would have prefered, but I wanted her to talk to me at the end of the day. The first day i couldnt get over 4k rpm before she was telling me to slow down. Second day I got into Vtec a few times without much complaint. I was proud of her for hanging in there. In the end she had a great time and is looking forward to doing it again next year.
