  1. So last night I sat down and tried to compile an honest spreadsheet on what my used 2001 Caterham Superlite has cost me. It is embarrassing to see the amount of money I have spent on the car, and in hindsight I think 2 years later I could have purchased a new 620r for the cash I have spent on this baby I hope there are at least 3 others that can say the same as I am also torn about telling the wife how much (of my secret money) I have spent, Me thinks if she knew I would be looking for a new place to sleep. But at least I will be with my other love.
  2. Still finding stuff... A set of new Zetec Pistons Casting M279A-YL86-142 $75 + $15 Shipping OBO Rear Lenses a few light scratches but nothing to affect there performance $20 + 5 bucks Shipping OBO And a pair of NIB Trekassy 2”x 120” Wheel Car Tie Down Straps Heavy Duty with Flat Hooks $40 15 bucks Priority Mail shipping OBO
  3. Sanded mine with 1200 then lacquered it using Spray Max 2K Clear Glamour Here are a few before and after shots Pre Spray 1 Pre Spray 2 Post Spray 1 Post Spray 2 Came out acceptable I could/should have spent more time rubbing down and polishing the finish
  4. Sold (should of asked for more $$)
  5. Pair of oversize Front GRP Wings (extra wide) I run Hoosier 20.5 x 7 x 13 for the front and these wings will cover the tires. Bought these for track days but never used them there are no chips or damage to the GRP Bigheads glassed in, so 4 Zip Ties is all that is needed to secure them to the stays. The paint needs a final sanding if you keep the Stinger yellow. Please email me if you want more photos Shipping is $15 Thanks Steve
  6. Sold to the mini bloke
  7. I need to move the Roll Bar, Reversing lights and filler neck so any reasonable offers will be considered.
  8. Still sorting through the extra bits, here are a pair of front Carbon Fiber Cycle Wings. The damage is in the lacquer when I dropped one on the concrete floor (before I put down the plastic tile) this will need to be sanded and re-lacquered there is no viable damage to the carbon. There is a scratch also just in the lacquer which is minor and I think it could be buffed out. They both have bigheads glassed in so attaching to the stays can be done with a couple of tie wraps. Other than the damage to the lacquer they are in near perfect condition. $150 and Free Shipping to CUS Please email or PM me with questions or if you need more photos. Thanks Steve

  15. I had a few questions regarding the mirrors and lights and shipping costs: The shocks coming are from 33317 Weight 25.6Lbs Box dimensions 22" x 9" x 10" I do not have a windscreen so I don't know if these will fit a Caterham windscreen mounting point but here is a close up of the mount and adapters http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=17378&d=1594908410 The reversing lights are unused (unmounted) I got them but decided on a different look. The roll bar is open to offers as the wife wants it gone. All Items are available unless otherwise stated. Cheers Steve

  17. 11budlite take a photo of the back of your car and photo shop the lights that way you will have a better idea of the look (The image in my head never looks the same in reality) Yes KitKat agreed that they match the square back of the car I just think they look kit car-ish The Lucas L594 would be a great option but I have the holes drilled for the block lights so that option is out The Led's that go in the Carbuilders housing are OK just look a little to modern I would prefer a dome housing but it had to be 95mm which is rather large. The Early Land Rover series II would also work but as I said to late.
  18. Ya thanks I think I will go for the Carbuilders option and Landy LEDs not exactly the look I wanted but better than the Caterham Block
  19. Just something that has been mentioned before on various forums and IMO the Caterham rectangular rear light cluster does not match the styling of the rest of the car. I think it makes it look like a Kit car (yes, yes I know) taking away from the old school styling. I want something more retro but as the rear CF wings have been fitted with the rectangular boxes (and the holes are already there) I have only found this option http://https://www.carbuilder.com/uk/angled-twin-round-lamp-housing-black And fitted with these http://https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-AMR6526LED https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-AMR6527LED I still think the above lenses are incorrect and something in this style would look more authentic https://rimmerbros.com/ItemList--Series-III-109-Rear-Lamps--m-17000 But I can't find a housing that would work with the above lenses Anyone have another option?
  20. Not looking to hijack but just to add a word of caution, as an owner of a set of Intetrim seat (shipped over at great experience) the craftsmanship on these seats (well mine) is crap The seats look great in the photos but what a hack job on the finished product if I was in the UK I would have refused these on delivery.
  21. Sorry to hear M8 The Caterham is going to be impossible to sell and hopefully the Twats that stole it don't know anything about Caterhams so if they try to sell it will raise a red flag. Please keep us posted o the outcome
