  1. seconded.... by first hand experience :-(
  2. ... the phrase "paying the middle man" doesn't even begin to describe the BJ enterprise (and their clones) :-(
  3. Sale pending.
  4. Sorry, was unaware there was more than one version. This one is black/white, originally published in 1991, reprinted in 1995.
  5. Lightly used, been read a few times, but uncut, unmarked, and no greasy finger-prints. Looking at Amazon today, there are 9 used starting at $250, make offer. ianmacp777(@)gmaildotcom
  6. yes, never mounted on a car.
  7. SOLD, thx USA7s
  8. doesn't mean that Caterham didnt install it wrong......
  9. If money isn't too big a deal, strongly consider downsizing the rim diameter. Much lighter unsprung weight, and the smaller tire might have a chance to warm up to a decent operating temperature. Unless you have stupidly high levels of power, a 16" tire is pointless.
  10. Very typical for a 4-speed Kent. Your engine isnt happy down low anyway, its not a modern fuel-injected torque producer, and FormulaFord guys run them between 6000 and 7200.
  11. +1 (yes, other opinions may vary)
  12. thats a lot of work and $$$ for at best 300 revs. Whats the other advantage?
  13. don't fire up the welder, I have what you need. I'll be in Ottawa a week from tomorrow, can send them from there to avoid cross-border nonsense :-) PM me an address cheers
  14. are you looking for those black plastic Caterham pieces that bolt on with two bolts, and have a brass hinge pin pressed in to one half?

    Hot Feet

get some of this: https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productselection.asp?Product=3620 run it from inside the nosecone, around the radiator, back to a hole in the bulkhead in front of your feet if you drive in the rain a lot, put a loop in it and a small drain hole at the low point in the loop
  16. initial post says the thermostat opens when hot, so sadly sounds like the pump's sheared; no way to tell w/o pulling it off that I know of.
  17. look closely, car sold 26 months ago :-)

are those series 3 rear wings, or was the narow to wide transition not same as series 2 to 3?
  19. LOL yes, he was certainly instrumental in making the previous owner of my car a happy seller.
  20. Sold. Two inquiries, one visit, sold for 75% of last years purchase price. Yikes, is the market really that bad....?
  21. send me a PM, I have a partner in Ohio that does CF work for ALMS and GrandAm racers.
  22. For your fuel pressure question, we run 60psi in the Zetec's in our Formula Continentals. By the way, the diaphragms are flimsy, check pressure often as they crap out regularly and will read 100+ when they do and screw up your mixture.
  23. Sale Pending, thanks USA7s.
  24. liking and wanting ...... :-)
