The history sounds correct. Having been out on track with the previous owner( Mad Man Mike), it’s a very fast Seven in his hands. Good Luck with its Sale.
Maybe, owner said 13 to 1 compression with a major over- bore and a big cam. He vintage raced it and had a machinist tap out an extra hole for an add plug. It didn’t sound like your normal Jaguar..
One of the 3 bought by Carroll Shelby. Never raced in period, parked in a warehouse. On my short list of cars I must own. The owner was really cool, and when over the whole car with me in the rain. Unbelievable car, wish I could fit in it…Enjoy..
I like any of the above that are Red , White and Blue. And as long as I’ve been a member ( 18 years), this has been all Sevens welcome, not a Caterham only club..
C Buff,Thanks for sharing Chris Collin’s build manual. Off I go down the rabbit hole, it’s so well written and detailed I’ll read the whole thing. Cheers Steve
My Zetec takes 3 seconds to show pressure. Like Bill I put a 1/3 in the filter. I have two stainless steel oil lines to the nose mounted oil cooler. You would think it would be longer. Good Luck
Why wait, If you’re truly interested in selling. For 20 bucks you can posted it here with the serious 7 nuts.😂 Your sale post will stay on here until you state your Caterham is sold. If you don’t sell it here, wait a few months and go with BAT for a much larger audience. Good Luck in 25..
