I guess there are pros and cons to both, the reason I raised this point was that I noticed (and I could be wrong here) that all newer 7,s seem to be running cycles.I do not even see a full wing option buying new on the CatUSA site. Some say there is more lift at speed on a clam, I have experienced that, plus if you have clams from stock you will always have the bolt holes to deal with if you decide to switch. I think it really is a close call, I think there is def a classic look to a full wing but there is also something about watching your front wheels turn and bounce up and down. Is there more road crap thrown up via the cycles ? Any other pros and cons to consider?

Are clams going the way of flared trousers? I just noticed that cycles are becoming the norm now.

Jambalaya, As I said before, I would not go that route myself, as I do mind screwing up on a 60K car, but good luck. I do not think you have to worry about "paint scratches from the shipping", they have been doing this for a while. Have you driven a 7 yet to see if it suits you ? Not to say you are putting the "cart before the horse" (I think it's great to ask questions) but have you driven one yet? If you have not yet I would def recco a test drive as they do not suit (or even fit) everyone.

I wonder what contraptions members have come up or bought to carry luggage /tents/cargo/ or Costco run in general? I spoke to Ben at Caterham last year and he said the Cat Luggage rack "is not that great". I was thinking of dumping the spare and using the wheel carrier to strap a case to.
