  1. FWIW I've worn glacier glasses for years without any noticeable vision limitation. Consider that if you wear glasses you can't see lateral to the lens any way: so leather side shield is moot.
  2. “Glacier glasses” style sunglasses & ball cap tied to seatbelt anchor with para-cord. I probably look like a trainspotter who’s forgotten their anorak. But most would not consider driving the seven the be chique.
  3. This lookalike a bargain, and SB100 too! Re salty climates: If you pass the test fit, pm me for additional thoughts & experiences
  4. Fwiw - since locktite was mentioned: to disengage/remove parts that have thread locker on them all you need to do is warm them up. (Different temps for different strength locker). Use a heat gun or fire & patience.
  5. Not that we encounter. Everyone seemed to (mostly) behave themselves & a good time was had by all. I think one or two big cars not letting anyone by. Good run group sizes too.
  6. Long drive up to LRP... the mantle of “last man standing” was restored to Charlie today.
  7. great weather & friends a perfect track day!
  8. You could try & see if Dick Brink has any laying around
  9. @Mrmustang: why a nitrile & not latex glove?
  10. Charlie - Thank you for the “Last Man Standing” performance award. The rain stopped, track dried up, & last session was great! It was myself, the Formula Atlantic & lots of open track. I cannot thank Croc & YellowS7 enough for organizing (herding cats) and otherwise smoothing over all the bumps & hiccups that inevitably pop up.
  11. It started with one. Then a second. & quietly multiplied.
  12. If your switches are like mine: (simplified version)… all connections go through hazard switch. After switch is activated there is often a bad connection resulting in indicator light malfunction. cycling the switches on/off several times (probably rubbing off disuse oxidation) will restore normal function through the hazard switch.
  13. John Et al. The colors look good! re stickers: would it format on an oval vinyl cling sticker? I’ve had one on my car for years without falling off. & I’ve removed them without any marks.
  14. Have you looked into Tillett b6 seat? I think this is the one caterham uses for many seats also. As bear bones as it is I find mine very comfortable on long drives. And between the various caterham importers and the other USA importer expect you can find one (with a little patience)
  15. “seats with heated padding” ?!? Does it also come with cup holders for my latte?
  16. Any idea if there will be changes from last years tech inspection? Eg: Caliper thicknesses? is it still 6years from tyre manufacturing date?
  17. I got this pre-pandemic, not sure if they're still available. Auto Armour out of houston tx. sales them part # 682684392077
  18. Taking hose to parts store & looking through their selection to find one with the right shape to cut out has worked well for me.
  19. Number on web page is correct. Try calling BirkinDirect after the holiday. if Tom is in the office he’s very responsive. If not did you leave a voicemail? I don’t expect the Caterham fender will fit the Birkin.
  20. WOW! this is great news, you're on my calendar as well
  21. ?? It doesn’t show up when I go the the web page
  22. Do you have the tillett suede pads? I find mine quite comfortable with them even on long drives.
