  1. Damn and I thought all great race drivers were aggressive when behind the wheel of a race car. Gale
  2. This sucks!! We are outa here. Next stop Punta Cana. Gale
  3. As a totally insignificant member of this eventually terminal infestation of humanoids on this planet, That is truly funny. Gale
  4. Daniel You have great taste in cars. Gale
  5. -No offence Terry but I think you missed the point of the video. The purpose was not to make light of the beginner driver of the orange Stalker missing his apex cones or his lack of control of the car. The point I think was that the Stalkers were passing every one …..some 3 times, even driven badly as you say. How the hell did that happen? Gale
  6. Is Obama care affecting your personal or family health care in any noticeable way? For us not yet. But we are on a much loved single payer goverment plan called medicare that has so far covered all of our medical bills....with a small supplemental. Gale
  7. Too much HP not quite enough! Looks like a fun ride. Gale
  8. According to my "daddy" this is not the correct way to create a dead peddle but it works perfectly. Increase the clutch master cylinder to a I inch diameter piston and install a stop behind the pedal to prevent over extension of the slave cylinder. This makes the clutch hard enough to engage that you can now rest your foot on it without damaging the clutch. My wife thinks the clutch is too hard to engage so does not like to drive the car.......sooo... she doesn't. That is probably a good thing. Gale
  9. Sorry, should have been more explicit. The Sherco Cabestany replica was what I was referring to. Thanks for the info. Gale
  10. They say these things cost 9900. What do they actually cost to get to your door?
  11. For me a portion of the pleasure of owning a 7 is getting to look at it every time I go into the garage.......so it remains uncovered. Gale
  12. Thanks Checked it out. Cool.... its a dog box but has helical gears instead of straight cut . The syncros have been removed. Thats why the clunk when you shift. It should shift very fast. Gale
  13. Shane I thought you had changed to a dog box for track use. Gale
  14. Shane Thats about as good as it gets. Goose bumps. Gale
  15. Andy We had that experience today. Just crossed into The US from Canada when major problems put us beside the road a thousand feet from the port of entry. Chief mountain is in the middle of nowhere. No cell phone service. We walked back to the POE and the customs official called the closest tow truck service which was over an hour away. They usually charge by the mile plus labor. Instead of hauling us to the repair shop I had him haul the immobile car and us back to my RV and he put the car carefully back in its portable garage with no damage, all for 350. He would have taken us 1500miles home if requested. It only takes $. I have had AAA plus RV for some time but fired them recently after continual bad experiences with them. AAA service is frequently very poor and the deeper into the boonies you go the worse it gets. I actually had two guys show up with no air tools and no lug wrench big enough to remove the lug nuts. They did have a bill for 150. Today’s experience was pleasant by comparison. Gale
  16. He is also a hell of a good engineer. Gale
  17. Gert Phil and I will be at the KOA in St Mary as you come thru. Hope to hook up with you there possibly. Just bought a new limited slip rear end for my car and have to get it installed this week......really getting pushed for time. Planning to leave home on the 26th if all goes well. Wow.....2 weeks .....lot to do. Gale
  18. Your tail lights are a great choice. All in one and they look great. Gale
  19. A Noble 400 is a great car. I have pushed one to its limits a couple of times....this is a great car....but it looks like it was designed by a committee...didn't buy it.
  20. I also have a Vette and a Stalker, both with LS7 power. The Vett is a daily driver and fun to drive always. The Stalker on the other hand, is so powerful and handles so well that it is hard to describe. Most people that I have taken for a "ride" return somewhat stunned, I believe from the violence and noise of the experience. It even took Lana a while to get acclimated to this car. We had to add more padding to her head rest. This car is not for most people. It is violent, loud, windy, and totally addictive...........well unless you drive it like my grandma. I also have great memories of my TR 6......fun car ....but it broke alot. Gale
  21. The only thing more dangerous .....at least to the operator would be using an unlit oxy-acetylene cutting torch.......WOW......big bang. Call 911 before striking the match.
  22. I tried the same thing only I used the propane tank off the barbecue grill. The whole front yard is crisscrossed with runs. After gassing them for 24 hrs. I waited till dark ....struck a match and blew up the front yard........happy 4th of July . Gale
  23. Mike Beautiful build!! These V8s add a hole dimension to driving a 7 ...amazing torque that keeps you pinned in your seat till reason kicks in. Gale
  24. You would be correct!
