I get this alot.......Sir can i take a picture of your car? I don't think i could discribe this to anyone. What is it? I finally stuck a BMW emblem on the bonnet......amazing how many questions that stopped.

I think it's the fancy louvers on those fancy fenders that is the problem. Gale

SEVENUP I agree The Z3 coup (M) is the coolest looking car BMW has ever made.... have been looking for an imola red one with black interior ....hard to find.......Should have bought one when they were new. I am running 23 psi today.......still playing with pressures, the set up and brakes. With 18/19 inch wheels breaking has become less than i am happy with even with yellow stuff pads and smaller masters.

Sounds like you are having a great time......but quick let go? I haven’t experienced that with mine. A couple of things you might try. If you are having an oversteer problem try stiffening up the front springs, assuming the rears are ok. This usually helps. If you are getting enough body roll with the new tires to extend the inboard rear shock to the fully extended stop this could cause a sudden oversteer situation also. Not good. Gale

Which day are you coming thru Glacier? If I have it figured correctly you are going from Kalispell to Going to the Sun Road which dumps out on 89 then 17 to Canadian 6….to Pincher Creek… If that is the case Babb is on 89 at the intersection to Many Glacier. We plan to get to Glacier Park a week or 2 early so we can chase around there a bit. There will likely be two of us . We are RV/ trailering it to Calgary where we will park. We will do the hotel thing until we return to Calgary. We will be much slower than you so will trail along behind. If that’s ok. Gale

Just got inspection/ tags done on my car today i am totally legal. Got a lot of small stuff to do but it runs and its the fastest thing i have ever driven so i am a happy camper.

We are interested but our plans are not set yet. We will be in Many Glacier for at least couple of weeks before heading into Canada most likly. Don't know where we will leave the RV and start the motel thing. That is still under discussion. Gale

Croc You are right Pete's car is fast but was in the next class group down from John's Stalker. Pete is an amazing driver but the long straights at VIR weed out the lower HP cars. A couple of years ago Pete and John were at Cresson and had a pretty much private race till the track nazi ended the session early (as he told the corner workers ) before they kill each other. It was fun to watch. Gale

A painted floor ( epoxy, urethane or acrylics ) is just that ........a painted floor. Painted floors are great if you want a show room but a disaster if you do metal, fiberglass or paint work in your shop, so have a clean room with a beautiful waxed painted floor for parking toys and plain polished concrete in the shop/ garage side that can be dust mopped or scraped to remove epoxy/polyester resin or what ever else falls on it. The more cars you build the more parking spaces you have to paint. Eventually you have to build another garage. We built a 12 car garage to start with. By the time you move in 2 lathes, milling machine, shears, break, storage racks, metal cabinets, two benders, tig, mig, acetylene, 2 plastic, plasma, roller tool box, two poster lift, various belt/disk sanders, sink, hot water tank, big screen tv, surround sound speakers, Refrig, microwave, coffee pot, uranyl, pressure washers, 20ton, press inside and outside sand blasters, parts polisher, hundreds of small tools, 2 drill presses, welding table and assorted work tables. It is now down to a 6 car garage, so we built a 2 car down draft paint booth to park 2 cars in when not painting. After typing this i realized this car thing has really gotten out of hand. Damn I may go back needle point. Gale
