  1. Not a Brunton; RHD and pic is from the UK. ????
  2. I suppose the virus is now pandemic. :smash: . . . . . :Chevy_anim:
  3. Tom's headlights really aren't 'that' big. It's just that his car really is 'that' small. As for raising the mirror, it's sorta like the bald guy wearing a toupee; he isn't truly bald, he's simply too tall for his hair and must adapt to his environment. :conehead: :jester:
  4. Stocking up . . . . . :lurk::lurk::lurk: . . . . :jester:
  5. MichaelD, The concern is with the stock pump coming apart above 7400 rpm vs. the billet pump which will survive the high rpm environment. No pump, no oil pressure.
  6. Okay, I think my attempted humor may have overstepped some bounds and raised a concern or two. When I said "the 'new guys'" I meant 'us new guys' (yep, that's me in the mix). Let me reassure all that I'm ALL about safety and having a good time on and off track. Period. If there is a No Ego award, I'll win. Having said that, I refuse to wear a dress (well, maybe. . . If there's good money in it). And my feelings are beginning to get a little hurt as there has been no mention of providing confetti for the parade lap. I'll bring my own tow rope.
  7. Okay, now that you guys have this follow-the-leader thing worked out for 'WE NEW GUYS', us Storker drivers are requesting a privately escorted convoy complete with flashing lights, sirens, confetti and a beauty queen doing the closed-fingered wave. So, the question is, who's going to volunteer to be the beauty queen?
  8. Dan, Be careful standing on piles of disgarded wiring. A fellow car building friend of mine did that once and was sucked head-first into an electrical vortex and not seen again for six months.
  9. Dang, slngsht, a trike-driving administrator . . . and I never knew about the Miata-hairdresser thing! :jester: Judging from the the build thread, no corners cut on that one.
  10. Glad to know I'm not the only one keeping Roger in business.
  11. Tach and Speedo inop Circuit breaker tripped: check for a short on the powered-side of the breaker. Breaker not tripped, check the ground.
  12. An Austin-Healy . . . . I learn something new every day.
  13. Mondo, Great shots. What engine is in the Griffith and do you know the year model?
  14. So is this the official 'Bass Masters' vehicle?
  15. Mike, I did a track day at MSR Cresson on March 22. The wife (and kids) were with me . . . . It was our 16th wedding anniversy.
  16. m3dragon, Welcome to the forum.
  17. Well, mowing in a straight line just went out the window.
  18. Dave, Not sure is you'll find your answer in this article, but just may be worth a read (something might jump off the page): http://www.popularhotrodding.com/tech/0604_rear_suspension_guide/ Also, a couple of questions; do you have a limited slip diff, open diff, etc., and, are you spinning the tire/tires during shifting? . . . . .
  19. Skip, Welcome aboard! :seeya: I was going to suggest Manshoon11, but he has already chimed in. I can't help with the CA registration, but I am a Stalker owner and will be more than willing to help in other Stalker-related areas if you pull the trigger on the 05. Also, FWIW, Dennis Brunton sold Brunton Auto to the Minehearts (Scott Mineheart and Glen Mineheart). Scott is the son and Glen is the dad. Contact numbers coming to you via pm.
  20. Never seen one? . . . . . I'd never even heard of one! Yep, very clever. :iagree: There was also a great looking Porsche running back and forth across the same stretch of Mulholland with the i8. I just looked it up; a 50th anniversary 911. Here's a photo I took:
  21. Dan, I think that was replaced somewhere along the way with "The race belongs to the guy with the cubic bucks." Speaking of cubic bucks, spotted this on Mulholland Friday; BMW i8. :svengo:
  22. :dupe: . . . . . .
  23. Dan, When I bought back my Stalker, I decided to clean up/rewire the electrical system . . . just so you know you aren't alone: http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=23485 http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=21191 Sorry I couldn't make Mojave today.
