Stew, What have you done to your Storker? :ack:
  2. . . . . . . .
  3. fmorser, Welcome aboard. Sorry to hear about your back. As I type, I'm on the mend from an unfortunate accident I had with my Stalker at Texas World Speedway back in Febuary. I received a slight fracture in T2, a nasty fracture in T10, a compression fracture in T11 and a burst fracture in T12. So far, I've been able to avoid surgery and am healing naturally in a back brace, pared with good meds and equals doses of humor from the guys on this forum. i attended NJMP last year and it is by far the most fun event I've ever attended. If you can make the event, do so. You'll be glad you did.
  4. Duncan, Great looking car. What transmission does it have?
  5. Reckon they have wifi and cell service? Oh, and don't piss off the guy holding the rope!! :ack:
  6. Since 'when' is a 7 supposed to be civilized? :jester:
  7. Fantastic!
  8. And with that white all weather gear, I won't even have 'pimp' my ride. :jester:
  9. Michael, I'm still on the mend; six weeks tomorrow. Have a follow up visit scheduled for Monday that will include new X-Rays. I've lost about 15 lbs since the accident, but that's actually been a good thing; less weight to carry around while I heal. And if I can keep the weight off, I should be faster on track. Sorry, Michael, but I typed this in my phone.....using my left hand.
  10. Well, Mario has his Storker very well sorted. Turns out that at NJMP and COTA last year, he was running with a fairly dead cylinder (broken piston ring land) in addition to clutch and tranny issues. With those items addressed, and a new set of matching sneakers, #142 was running strong at Barber. Here are a couple of clips of the March 28, 29 weekend with Rezoom: If any of you other 7 drivers are shooting driving videos, please post. In between exchanging playful jabs with Croc and a handful of others here, I'm living vicariously through your experiences until my back and my car issues are sorted out.
  11. I'm left-handed I'll have you know. :toetap05: That's it......you're getting a visit from Hilda. And Suave's coming with her.
  12. I have, as we speak, the new, yet-to-be-released, three-wheel prototype Storker sitting in my shop......I could just bring that. However, I think right-handers will be a bit of a challenge.
  13. Oh...........if only the Storker weren't laying on the lift, all wounded, broken and bleeding. The more I read these posts, the more I wish I were gonna be there. :svengo:
  14. Turbo, I'mrecovering nicely; X-rays next Monday will tell the tale. Having said that, I'mready to see your car move under its own power. This is quite the undertakingyou've done by going your own way regarding a drivetrain.
  15. Oh no, no, no..................by all means, let'm sweat. :jester:
  16. That's a good call. At this point, you really don't have anything to loose. Good luck with the repair and please update here with results.
  17. Dave, You're the poster child for 'why' Superformance should have continued producing the S1! Great driving!!!! And the car sounds awesome! :hurray: . . . . . .
  18. I'd first take it up with the machine shop. Aside from that, you might try a salvage yard.
  19. I do enjoy these old videos.
  20. newtoit, these may be of interest:
  21. Randy, maybe not your best run........but that's the run you'll never forget. :jester:
  22. So true . . . . . . . A buddy of mine sent me a photo of his first ride. Said he still has it and that I can borrow it until I find a suitable replacement. :jester:
  23. Right now, that's about all it can do.
  24. Suuuuuure............go ahead and slam me while I'm laying here damaged, broken and insane . . . . . ah . . . . . . . in pain. :jester: . . . . . . and it's a 12 foot long boat anchor, not 16, bucko. :toetap05: . . . . . . .
  25. Great find, Skip! Thanks for sharing this.
