  1. It's those blasted radial tires! :jester:
  2. Yessir . . . . . :iagree:
  3. Kitcat, Are you thinking maybe there will be a 'revised' future event at NJMP; the all new, first annual USASUV get together? I can see it now; everybody is showing up with their 7's in tow only to unhook the 7's and hit the track with the windows rolled up and the air on. :jester:
  4. This is what Google is turning up for me (two different versions, with the silver SUV being slotted to be built in China) . . . . ?
  5. P, I had a similar situation a few years ago with an engine change (Duratec) in a Birkin I owned. Per Haltech, some wiring had to be changed in order to accommodate the 'change' in cam position sensing. To echo the advice of speedwagon, I'd contact Haltech.
  6. Magnificent! Goes right along with the Hazard Fraught Tools ad. :jester:
  7. fandaor, Welcome to the group! Great bunch of guys and gals here; knowledge and humor abound.
  8. Oh, I wood say that you're just board. :jester:
  9. Great vid, Skip! I especially like that you can see the reflection of the other F-18's in the slot man's visor.
  10. . . . . . . . . :hurray:

Stew, What have you done to your Storker? :ack:
  12. . . . . . . .
  13. fmorser, Welcome aboard. Sorry to hear about your back. As I type, I'm on the mend from an unfortunate accident I had with my Stalker at Texas World Speedway back in Febuary. I received a slight fracture in T2, a nasty fracture in T10, a compression fracture in T11 and a burst fracture in T12. So far, I've been able to avoid surgery and am healing naturally in a back brace, pared with good meds and equals doses of humor from the guys on this forum. i attended NJMP last year and it is by far the most fun event I've ever attended. If you can make the event, do so. You'll be glad you did.
  14. Duncan, Great looking car. What transmission does it have?
  15. Reckon they have wifi and cell service? Oh, and don't piss off the guy holding the rope!! :ack:
  16. Since 'when' is a 7 supposed to be civilized? :jester:
  17. Fantastic!
  18. And with that white all weather gear, I won't even have 'pimp' my ride. :jester:
  19. Michael, I'm still on the mend; six weeks tomorrow. Have a follow up visit scheduled for Monday that will include new X-Rays. I've lost about 15 lbs since the accident, but that's actually been a good thing; less weight to carry around while I heal. And if I can keep the weight off, I should be faster on track. Sorry, Michael, but I typed this in my phone.....using my left hand.
  20. Well, Mario has his Storker very well sorted. Turns out that at NJMP and COTA last year, he was running with a fairly dead cylinder (broken piston ring land) in addition to clutch and tranny issues. With those items addressed, and a new set of matching sneakers, #142 was running strong at Barber. Here are a couple of clips of the March 28, 29 weekend with Rezoom: If any of you other 7 drivers are shooting driving videos, please post. In between exchanging playful jabs with Croc and a handful of others here, I'm living vicariously through your experiences until my back and my car issues are sorted out.
  21. I'm left-handed I'll have you know. :toetap05: That's it......you're getting a visit from Hilda. And Suave's coming with her.
  22. I have, as we speak, the new, yet-to-be-released, three-wheel prototype Storker sitting in my shop......I could just bring that. However, I think right-handers will be a bit of a challenge.
  23. Oh...........if only the Storker weren't laying on the lift, all wounded, broken and bleeding. The more I read these posts, the more I wish I were gonna be there. :svengo:
