  1. OK, so I'm late to the party, when did Scott buy out Dennis?
  2. I've decided to send the 7 to Q. Totally James Bondify the car .:driving:
  3. check sevens&elans for their extra pulley setup. I beleive they and Mid-Atlantic Caterham/Alderman Bros. have a set up to use the OEM size belt.
  4. lol
  5. I think i'e read where Proton has confirmed that the S3 Elise will be 2400#s. yes, this is no longer your fathers Lotus.
  6. is this the small curcuit all the way on the east side of the property?
  7. Lol
  8. nice idea. But it appears its for new Atoms only. Hopefully it works well enoug that they would expand to other tracks in following seasons.
  9. i think the Cayenne Turbo is actually faster than the Boxster S. The Panamerica is damn beast.
  10. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/driving/in_the_showroom/article5574290.ece thats from 2 years ago. Jez Coates is involved back then. Is Caterham bring the $$ to the party? That's a pretty big step for a niche manufacturer. never heard of Zolfe before, but the design does not look bad. I wonder if they are working in association w/ Zolfe, are they trying to resurrect the intent of the 21? I would hope the announcement is for another powertrain. westfield played w/ the electrical concept, i'd like to see a diesel motor fitted.
  11. maybe a yellow SV w/ cycle fenders?
  12. speedo is usually the speed sensor falling out from its transmission port. I take it your odometer no longer increases as well when driven? the stock temp gauge on 5 speed Cats is a coolant temp and oil pressure gauge. The coolant temperature problem on mine was the ground on the sensor at back of the engine.
  13. Some of teh NE se7ens would probably be very interested as well.
  14. usually 22psi for around town. long highway drives i may bump to 28 for the fuel economy.
  15. why not just put in a more recent motor. How is the compression on the '93 motor. An autoX friend was complaining that he feels his '94 has lost a lot of its oommpphh. well, its a Miata, omph. Maybe a 2001+ 1.8 or if possible the 2.0L? It sound slike more money, but i think the less maintenance and reliability would be more appealing to possibly double the hp of a dying engine.
  16. But this the same stupid stuff on TG UK. My understanding was their first few season sucked pretty bad as well. That being said, the personalities didn't seem to mesh, and overly produced. hell, overly over-produced. I forgot Brewmasters was on Discovery last night .Hopefully thats on my OnDemand service. At least tom can be happy his Iggles won:smash:.
  17. cheap shot or chip shot, stay tuned!
  18. i'm trying to explain to a few fellow autoXers/ new core workers that Divisionals,NTs and Lincoln are not so much autoxing as more of a vacation/party. yes u will get beat badly(usually) ur first time, so u better have fun anyway. Its not like the stories are fake. i look forward to being on the r160s next year. Do u plan to head over to Axis vs Allies next month?
  19. FIA expiration date? quite interested...
  20. any more pics of teh black se7en w/ teh large orange stripe and lipstick and teh yellow se7en w/ all the venting in the nose cone?
  21. 5 minutes would be length of summer in Alaska. I thought it was neat. I would have wanted the windshield angled a bit more, but it seems to be pretty well executed. I would have wanted a trailer reciever on the end of teh wagon handle just in case and to keep the trailer hitch in the back
  22. I think a tree should be 'shopped into teh passenger seat w/ the talking bubble "Save Me! - Take me Home"
  23. i know. The wagon would have just kept on going and came out the other end. I would have looped back and found everyone stopped and looking at the tyre tracks that would go off into the distance. The muck that's on the meotters wheels and wheel wells is something fierce. It needs a good scrubbing or pressure wash, the regular hose barely did any dislodging.
