I definitely added a few pounds between the clubhouse Chef’s cooking & the Green Olive.

Which further added to my lap times.

Try to counter that added weight by removing some fenders..

Seems to work for me every year :classic_rolleyes:

My first pass at throwing something together from the weekend. I took the liberty of poaching some photos and video that was posted up here. Please let me know if you have any issues with that or if you would rather not be in any of the video (I can re- edit). Thanks again to everyone for sharing the experience and being so gracious with your time and knowledge. I will likely make another version of this when some more photos and video becomes available. (and apologies for some of the footage quality - iPhones with no tele lenses makes it tough).

@Vovchandr and I went through photos tonight. We have about 180 photos to edit. Won't be editing all of them. But will post a good portion of them once we crop and edit.

Once you have edited, I can provide a drop box site to add to the event photo library if you would like?

Just for the record, you are still 5 seconds a lap faster than Vlad around Thunderbolt!  Congratulations!

A drop box would be great, we will let you know once we have finished files. And thank you, I am always proud to support that title, maybe some day he will beat me and I will have to reconsider my handle :classic_rolleyes:

I have received the NJMP Track Photographer photos - generously taken by Mike of Windshadow Photos.

I have them loaded into DropBox and can share via a link to email addresses of participants on request or you can downloads from the Gallery section of this forum.

As for why my car looks like a dog with worms dragging its ass down the straight, the answer is rear tires.  I have been a long term user of Hoosier R7 slicks.  Last time I placed an order, I failed to notice that Hoosier had changed the sizing such that the rear tire diameter is now significantly smaller.  Given I had no other spares in the garage, I elected to run them but had to be extremely careful of revs.  I was at 7000rom in 6th gear at Turn 12 - essentially the beginning of the main straight!  So was having to hold the car at that level all the way down the straight.  Luckily I was doing lead/follow instructor role with Charles and then Des such that it did not make a difference.

An order was placed for Pirelli P-Zero slicks on the first day as a set of immediate replacements!

Some turn 4 photos.  This is a very fast right handed sweeper.  With the right driver its 100mph area.

Me - always track out to the far (drivers) left on this cormer to reduce chance of snap oversteer and losing the rear end.

Vlad holding it closer to the right.  Suspension is nicely loaded with good even contact patches showing car has been set up well.

Des in his Caterham.  I think this is an early model car so live Ital axle.  Despite that it handles beautifully.

A lovely action shot of Charles that flatters his speed.

And tracking out,  Power looks to being applied vigorously, helping the rotation to complete the corner.
