jbanker
Wow..!!! Is that a Mallock? I love those English hot rods. A good friend of mine here in Indy is deep into the process of restoring a Mallock. Jack
Hank
7evin, do you have any problems with air bypassing your radiator by deflecting over the top of those front wings? Lol at the Miata comments. You can only polish a turd so much. Even Mythbusters proved that. To each his own.

JohnK
Good eye. Yeah it's a Mallock. Steve, and other Superformance S1 owners out there, Mallock, or the guy who builds Mallocks, figured out how to get both the alignment advantages of a live rear axle (tires stay perpendicular to road with no scrub when cornering) and the load transfer advantages of an IRS with parallel A arms (both inside and outside rear wheels have similar traction) when he came up with a linkage that puts the rear roll center very close to the ground rather than at the center of the diff. Superformance implemented his design in their S1. Allan Staniforth shows this in his Competition Car Suspension.

QUOTE] Hank we have not had any issues street, track or towing. But of course the AOA of the wing is much lower on the street and when is is dry. Croc
You are two years too late - I came, I saw and, I conquered the Reverie website! I thought long and hard about it but decided against it as I would have to cut up the nosecone to mount it properly on the CSR chassis (which is different to the Levante chassis shown). Also they had never mounted one to a CSR before and after the rear diffuser "fun" I was not in a trusting mood. It costs a fortune and I want my money towards my ongoing ultimate upgrade. Lastly, I really need rear downforce more than front downforce. My little winglets provide a ton of front downforce I only wash out the front from time to time in slower corners and that is due to CR500s instead of slicks. High speed cornering the car is lightly biased to tail-happy drifts even with the diffuser.

Nick OTeen
I've just added these carbon bits from Fluke Motorsport. They've shaved seconds off my lap times, increased my downforce and lowered my cholesterol. You've got to like that. http://i49.tinypic.com/122nog1.jpg
Alaskossie
Nick, And they've lightened your wallet, also.....("add lightness...") To install, how much disassembly of the front suspension did you have to do? I bought a pair of these, not realizing that I have the Caterham "aero" wishbones, and the spoilers were instead designed for the standard wishbones. I'm told that some trimming and fiddling with the spoilers can get them to fit on the aero wishbones, though. Haven't tried it yet. Did you fasten your spoilers onto the wishbones with any adhesive? Nick OTeen
Wasn't the pair you bought the ones from Sevenspeed? I ordered a set of those back in May or June of last year and waited and waited... first for a pair to be made (weeks), then for the thermostat of the autoclave to get replaced (weeks) then, (more weeks) finally was told the mold was damaged and they couldn't be made at all. For these from Fluke the wait was a week or so. They differ from the ones shown on page 9 of this thread in that they don't extend as far back toward the trailing edge of the A-arm. No suspension disassembly was needed. I had to trim the outer trailer edge of both pieces to clear the lower shock mount. I also covered them with 3M clear bra material. As for mounting, I just used 3M double-side trap (the grey stuff) along the leading edge and along the inner and out edges where the carbon "wings" made contact with the A-arms. They are securely attached but removable if need be. Any yes, there was some lightening of the wallet. Alaskossie
Nick, I did get mine from Sevenspeed -- before Linds turned to another line of business. My foils are supposed to fasten around both the front and rear legs of the A-arm; the "airfoil" edge is not left unsupported, but is moulded in with the rear-leg support. I understand that the Sevenspeed foils can be fitted to the Caterham aero arms with a bit of twiddling; just haven't done it yet. Your message to USA7s prompted me to visit the Fluke site, to ask about a pair of c/f sidescreens. I received an immediate reply that Fluke is now being handled entirely through the MOG site in Germany. Did you deal with Fluke before this occurred? I've got some ideas about a c/f sidescreen with a removable lexan window panel).
Nick OTeen
I think I ordered from Fluke during the transition as all my dealings were with a German fellow and the parts were shipped to me from Germany.
