Mole and Gopher eradication by 7

Oh well another use of my 7 clone besides a car.

We have had an issue with moles and gophers this year and they just seem to be immune to the pellets one can purchase from the garden store :banghead: so I figured I would just make them go to sleep and never wake up again.

Parked my 7 in the yard next to a fresh hole and put a soda can that I cut the top and bottom out of into the hole and onto the end of the exhaust then started the car and let it idle.

Just amazing how quiet my 7 is with this setup....:smilielol5:....

Found where a lot of other vent holes where and covered them or plug them with top soil as can be seen in the top left corner of this photo.

Hope full that the moles and gophers are now resting in peace and not making more holes in my yard.

I tried the same thing only I used the propane tank off the barbecue grill. The whole front yard is crisscrossed with runs. After gassing them for 24 hrs. I waited till dark ....struck a match and blew up the front yard........happy 4th of July .

I'm going to start my on critter-getter eradication business. Gonna call it Lucky "7" Pest Control. With my Stalker's V8, I can have a two-for-one sale during the grand opening. And once I equip each exhaust with the new patent-pending Gopher Trap mufflers, it should be a real money maker. :D

I had a minor infestation of moles.

I used moth balls(don't ask how I got their lil' legs apart).

The moles would shove the camphor back out, but got fed up and left my garden and have not returned...yet.

The only thing more dangerous .....at least to the operator would be using an unlit oxy-acetylene cutting torch.......WOW......big bang. Call 911 before striking the match.

Lean the mixture down at idle until it backfires enthusiastically. :cooldude:

You wouldn't be from Georgia would you? Sounds like a story I would hear around here.

No I am not from Georgia and I am not a grounds keeper but two days have passed and no sign of any new goopher holes. Wife said I should get a license plate that reads "Go4KilR" for my car....:smilielol5:......
