I'm new to Caterham's but drove my first one and have fallen in love. Are they rarely for sale, and where is the best place to find them for sale? (besides over in the UK). Thank you very much for all of your help.

Best,

I watch the market pretty religiously and honestly, in the USA this is probably the best place to find one. New cars come up pretty frequently. eBay has pretty regular listings as well.

The car shipped to its new owner today. I'll let him introduce himself. Kind of sad for me after 28 years of ownership but excited for him and all the new adventures he'll have. I'm looking at this as an opportunity as it opens up some future possibilities. Will always love Sevens!

So my morning started with an enclosed car carrier arriving at the end of my driveway. After doing the required inspection (no issues), handing over a check and signing the papers I became the official new owner. Left with a few minutes before needing to leave for work I had the opportunity to take my first drive - it was awesome! This is really a very well cared for, excellent example of what the Caterham experience is all about! (Jon I promise to care for it as much as you did.)

Tonight I had the chance to do a few more runs around the neighborhood (registration will be done later this week). It's amazing how easy it is to catch up with neighbors out for a walk. A good friend showed up in my garage after hearing me drive by. My boys (and me) have a 'perma-grin' after a just a few minutes. It's so much fun!

Now that I have one to call my own I can't wait to meet up with others who share a common passion and learn more about taking care of this car. I'm located in eastern PA, just south of Allentown. Anyone close? -Rick

Hi Rick,

Down here in Ambler, keep an eye out for up coming runs.

When the weather cools down we'll be out having fun.

Enjoy the ride......

So it's been 10 days since you got your Caterham. Does your face still hurt from smiling?

Think about coming out to one of our 7s at NJMP trackdays even if you don't want to track it. You'll enjoy seeing all the sevens together and might even enjoy the company.

Yes, the perma-grin might be taking its toll. It means my teeth are more susceptible to an errant stone thrown up by the sticky tires and my wife doesn't think I'm taking her seriously. I've given more than a dozen ride-alongs and all have shared the same enthusiasm (well, almost -they're just passengers).

I do hope to make it to some nearby events. Track events are a bit intimidating for the moment as I'm still trying to figure out heel & toe in a much smaller footwell than I'm accustomed. Practice will make perfect.
