Just curious, the owners of Stalkers, Birkins, Westfields etc. other than the "7" in the front grill is there any identifying emblems or badges displayed on your cars? My Stalker has Brunton Stalker molded into the rear plastic lid which is difficult to see….Do you guys have Lotus badges... or are we just anonymous and assume the style of the car is familiar or known as Super Sevens?

I must confess...

I swapped my Birkin nose badge for a lotus badge after becoming fatigued with questions every time i stopped for gas. As a consequence i get to look at the Birkin badge on my desk where it's been sitting ever since :)

The Westfield grill features the company name, but the letters are the same color as the grill, so as you can see, it's pretty subtle.

John, that's a very nice photo of a great looking car.

Completely lame putting a Lotus badge on any of these cars IMO.

:iagree: My Caterham sports the Caterham Super 7 badge it came with. If you get down on your knees and look really close the valve stem caps on my car do have a Lotus 7 logo which looks much like the Caterham logo.

Thanks. Wish I could take credit for the photo, but it was taken by someone else.

As my cars are Toyota powered, I've been toying with the idea of putting an upside-down Lexus "L" on the grill or nose. I just haven't brought myself to the point of executing that plan yet.

In my heart of hearts I feel the same…..But we live in a world of labels…and my car is label less !

My Ultralite has a 7 on the grill, since it is a replica/clone/copy/imitation of a Lotus 7, and it has a WCM Ultralite badge on the nose because that is the company that manufactured the kit.

My Canadian built Fejer 7 replica has the original Lotus badge same as all the other Fejer 7's I have seen. The badge is set in a raised depression.

Richard, :bigear: rumor has it that all Seven owners who are currently running Ford engines in their cars are gradually making the switch to Blue Oval nose badges. Say it ain't so, Joe!!!! :ack: But seriously, it's YOUR car . . . . do what you want. Don’t let someone else’s opinion sway you. Well, all except for mine; my opinion should count. (Sorry, just taking the opportunity to practice arrogance and snobbery . . . . . . . contemplating buying a Porsche).

I have a Honda Logo "H" on the center of my bonnet right above the S2000 motor. Several people have asked me if its a Honda and I just tell them "a big part of it is" unless they seem really interested and I have the time to start answering the long train of questions that will usually follow.

Here's another option for those of us without a Lotus :)

These aren't my cars, but they are badges on various Sevens that I've seen:

If we let just anybody uses the logo, it will lose its integrity. The next thing you know some Malaysian car company will want to use the Lotus logo.
