  1. This gives a whole new meaning to the 2x4 configuration. At least rust isn't an issue, though termites could be.
  2. Parked at the entry during a massive downpour. At least the top was up.
  3. She appears to have the requisite flexibility for getting in and out of a 7.
  4. Since he doesn't hear well, an older gentleman brings his wife with him to the doctor for his physical. The doctor asks his age and the man says "what did he say?" The wife says "tell him you are 78". Next the doctor asks how his vision is and the man says "what did he say?" His wife says "tell him you wear glasses for driving". The doctor checks his paperwork and advises the gentleman he will need to provide urine, stool, blood, and semen samples. Again, the man turns to his wife and says "what did he say?" The wife says "give him your underwear".
  5. Would that be an atom bomb?
  6. Bubba and Earl are out deer hunting. Bubba trips and his rifle fires a round, hitting Earl. Bubba does the right thing and calls 911 to report that he thinks he just killed his best friend. The 911 operator calmly tells Bubba that he needs to make sure that Earl is actually dead. Bubba says wait a moment, there is one more shot, and he then asks "Okay, what now?"

Its good to keep abreast of current trends.
  8. A variation of Richard?
  9. Just saw this Slingshot parked in the mall garage on a wet day in Seattle. For $30k it has 173hp pulling 1700 pounds.
  10. Considering that the driver crossed over the center line and hit an oncoming car, it is interesting that the apparent damages are to the back of the Atom. He must have lost control and was already spinning before impact.
  11. Hard to believe this is nearly a contemporary of the Lotus 7 http://money.cnn.com/video/technology/2014/11/11/this-car-has-a-jet-engine-the-chrysler-turbine-car.cnnmoney/index.html?sr=twmoney111214jetengine0700video Of course, the 7 lives on and this never sold.
  12. Seems to share many of the same traits: It is fast, light, open to the weather, with poor aerodynamics
  13. Also at the risk of stating the obvious, you could buy/rent an enclosed trailer. Essentially a portable garage.
  14. Would it work to use hi-lift jacks (http://www.hi-lift.com/hi-lift-jacks/ any 4WD store will have them) to lift the back ends of the ramps until parallel with the deck, than drive straight on?
  15. Randy - Your best guess for the drive home cost with expected/necessary options (windscreen, heater, updated brakes, drivetrain, etc.)?
  16. Randy - Since the wind deflectors are in the posts and not fixed in place, are they legal on the track?
  17. Sorry, my error, now corrected. It should be beachmanracing@mac.com. You can also call Bruce at (206) 774-0852.
  18. I got a set from Beachman Racing (beachmanracing@mac.com) that slide over the posts and tighten with a hex bolt. Unlike the factory mirrors, no vibration.
  19. Similar color scheme as Cowell's (former) CSR, but this was a 480.
  20. All of a sudden the Alaska blat doesn't look quite as appealing.
  21. My 22 year old daughter (blonde hair and blue eyes) recently went to Europe for the first time, changing planes in Munich. She looked around and said, "gawd, everyone here looks like me". Tourists were asking her for directions and the Lufthansa flight attendants kept speaking German to her.
  22. I was surprised that they called the 400 Caterham's fastest. The 500, 620 and CSR might all disagree.
  23. With the reliability of Caterham speedometer, there could easily be normal mileage on the car. Best to check other indicators of wear.
  24. We also let a few sport bikes and nice Honda 2000 go by. Being polite can be contagious.
  25. We ran it both both ways, as well as a few other roads in the area. All very scenic. Traffic wasn't bad, the few cars in our way moved over for us. Gotta love that southern hospitality.
