  1. Just a little advance warning that within the next week I will be placing my 2012 CSR 260 Roadsport with 8400 miles (registered in Washington as a 1966 Super Seven) up for sale. It is Dark Amethyst with a light gold bonnet and nose stripe. Leather seats/tunnel, quick release steering wheel, push button start, carbon fiber dash, two in-dash 12v outlets, aero gas cap, wide angle mirror. Have all paperwork. PM if you might have some interest.
  2. If you're looking for new, you have timed it well. Caterham has had a big price drop in the last year. Since you are lucky enough to live in Western WA, you should contact Bruce at Beachman Racing in Woodinville http://us.caterhamcars.com/find-dealership. He can answer whatever 7 questions you have.
  3. A historical question for the group: What 60-70s rock stars drove (or still drive) 7s?
  4. Saw this Cowterham on Facebook. Leather is included. http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=12261&stc=1
  5. The chassis has a VIN stamped on it, a fender (or whatever other used part example you want) doesn't.
  6. I guess we'll never find out how good or bad a car the Zeno really is http://www.telegraph.co.uk/cars/news/norfolk-sports-car-manufacturer-zenos-goes-administration/
  7. 2066? Even by Caterham standards, 50 years is a long wait for delivery.
  8. I had a 2004 Corvette for almost eight years until getting my CSR. The best bang for the price, but a very different experience. Compared to a Caterham, the vette is almost like a grand touring car. It is much more usable year round, but you miss much of the sensory experience.
  9. A fake wood dash that has fake toggle switches?
  10. The perfect evening for a sunset drive in Seattle. How's it looking where you are?
  11. Most of those 294 original miles must have been the drive from Utah (note the license plate) to Texas. Possibly the briefest description ever for a $50k specialty car.
  12. Bringing a car into the US is a federal issue. Licensing one is up to the individual states. So, as was previously posted, you have some research to do and a few calls to make.
  13. Cute commercial though I think a real Caterham airliner would probably resemble a WWI bi-plane.
  14. There will be several at The Ridge (Shelton, WA) on July 8th & 9th for Turn 2 track days.
  15. Too funny not to pass on. Thanks for posting the link.
  16. FYI http://www.motoring.com.au/expanded-caterham-seven-range-coming-102609/
  17. So little faith in the automotive press' ability to be objective.
  18. My impression is that the writer was very proud of himself for being able to handle an Academy car, but was in too deep with the 620.
  19. I guess we have different opinions of complimentary. When the article statesThe problem with the 620S is that its limits are not human." and The Caterham 620S is the world’s best Caterham, but the world can’t handle it." then I'm impressed.
  20. The original post stated the switch went up and down.
  21. Optional front fog lights that were never installed?
  22. Sorry, I thought a Road & Track article meant just that. Regardless, of the three, the current one is easily the most positive toward Caterham.
  23. Actually, I believe this was the last time Road & Track did a Caterham article http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/news/a27755/what-you-learn-driving-a-bare-bones-caterham/. You may recall it was widely discussed on this forum several months ago.
