  1. Thanks, the photo was much more than we had expected since the article was primarily not about Caterhams.
  2. Yes. Road & Track had contacted Beachman Racing for a car while Krafcik's was unavailable. Bruce handled all the logisitics of getting the car down and back.
  3. The photo that starts the Road & Track article:
  4. The official name is "America's Car Museum" https://www.americascarmuseum.org/
  5. Are you using the left side key in the right side lock? Turn the car half way around and see if that solves the problem.
  6. There are several 7s in the Seattle area, let us know when you get settled in.
  7. Definitely a keeper, just don't expect to use it year round. The late spring, summer, and early fall drives are worth it.
  8. Travis - When you do the trip again, just get a 7 with the weather package. This will give you the doors and heater which would make the drive almost a pleasure instead of a chore. Also, make sure you have the wider SV chassis (which it looked like) instead of the 3 (as the article implied).
  9. Caterham finally gets some attention from a national magazine and Hillbank provides a car without doors? What the he[[ were they thinking? Are sales so high so they wanted to scare off any potential customers?
  10. Wow, I can't wait to see your assessment of the Republican debate.
  11. And a top speed of 145, ten lower than the CSR.
  12. What are the advertised times? I thought the CSR time was 3.1 and the 620 at 2.8.
  13. Well, with the British reputation for reliability, at least the electrical system should have no problem handling the extra load. On a somewhat related note, the 620 will now be available in the wide chassis with a road package.
  14. Congrats on #3000. Even though you're only young once, you can stay immature forever.
  15. It was almost 40 degrees today, so what better way can there be to start the new year?
  16. You will really enjoy the new hood. When needed, it attaches in less than a minute. Or, about 15 less than the factory hood.
  17. This may explain why the kids keep faling asleep in class. Sorry Kentucky.
  18. Good point, though even if your local city PD does not have LoJack trackers, often times other city and county agencies will. Also a good chance the state police/highway patrol will have trackers, which is especially useful if the thieves move the stolen car or trailer out of the immediate area.
  19. You might also want to check out http://www.lojack.com/. The downside to GPS trackers occurs when the stolen trailer or car is located inside (no satellite recognition), such as a warehouse or garage, or not in range of a good cell signal. LoJack is a more expensive radio based system, where most police departments have receivers in patrol cars that leads officers to the location.
  20. Reminds me of several years ago when local college students convinced the Santa Cruz city council to ban disposable cups. Their complaint was that the cups frequently contained dihydrogen-oxygen, a compound responsible for numerous deaths every year. After the ordinance passed, the UC students confessed that the chemical is also known as water. And cups do often contain water. And many people drown in water.
  21. Judging by the last few photos, it must have been one heck of a party.
