  4. YouTube Video  If I am not mistaken one of our members worked on this commercial but I am not sure. One of the best I have seen.
  5. I think the US Supreme Court will find that the gun ban in DC will stand if they look at the Washington DC proper because Washington DC is not a state, kind of like the Vatican in Rome Italy a separate government in its self with its own system if I am not mistaken. Washington, D.C. is the capital of the United States. It is situated within and coterminous with the District of Columbia (abbreviated as "D.C."). The city and the district are located on the banks of the Potomac River and bordered by the states of Virginia (to the west) and Maryland (to the north, east and south). The city was planned and developed in the late 18th century to serve as the permanent national capital; the federal district was formed to keep the national capital distinct from the states.
  6. That driver had to be a factory driver for RUF or Porsche as he knew that track better than the back of his hand. Very impressive.

    Spa

That is unreal. The driver caught and passed the entire field in two laps. I wounder who the driver was and what made that car faster than the rest of the pack. Very impressive driving line, no wasted movement with very little scuffing of the tires while corrnering.
  10. Hi Jon, That's great. I am looking forward to seeing just how poorly I drove your car even though I had a great time and enjoyed it a lot.
  11. Hello All, On the other hand I do not know of any corporation or company that can get big things done overnight (or very quickly) like the US Government can and then sustain it even if their is bickering amongst the different branches of the government like Congress and Senate or Democrats or Republicans. An example of this would be the movement of 57000+ solders and equipment to defend a small government like Kuwait or the present mess we are in Iraq an Afghanistan. Most corporations or companies would be broke or bankrupt in a mater of a day if they had to due what our government dose everyday and it would cost at least three times the amount the Government would spend due to over runs and greed. Just my belief all though I due believe the Government dose waste a lot of time and money on things that the US public has no clue of or even care because as a population of one of the wealthiest nations in the world and with the freedom and right to VOTE we can not get everyone out to vote nor do some people even care. Hope what I am saying makes some sense.

    Kiss [joke]

The young tech sat there with a satisfied smile on his face. He thought to himself: "Life is good. How often does a guy have the chance to kiss a beautiful girl and slap his general manager all at the same time!" :hurray: Great ONE.
  14. Mazda, She would probably consider it an investment if it came with an INSURANCE policy if you know what I mean.
  15. I read some where that Ferrari purchased the scale car for a sum that was not disclosed but was stated that the builder was now very wealthy and could now buy any Farrari that is currently now produced.
  16. :iagree: Jon is HARD CORE alright but he is still COOL. Stay warm in the Northeast winter months and can you post a photo or two of your easy access top colsed and open from inside and out if you have a chance as people out here in the warm, dry and rarely wet SoCal would like to see that top with some snow on it.

  20. Hi Kyle, Best to locate someone in your area and sit in a 7 to see if you fit. Also if you build your own frame you can adjust the dimensions to fit you as someone else has stated. I built my frame using what would be the same size as a book frame with some up grades for strength and safety and if and when I due the next one I will only change the trans tunnel so that the area that the drive shaft resides will only be a half inch wider than the shaft which will make the seating area wider. I am 6'2.75" tall weigh 224lbs and have size 12W for feet and my drivers seat is on sliders and I am one inch from the back bulkhead when straped in and driving the car. Hope this helps.
  21. :)Just recived today my December Issue of GRM Vol 24 No 8 and on page 67 (no number on the page) is an article called BOOK SMART Building a Challenge Car by the Book. It is about a young gent named Shaun Hinds and his Locost 7 for the GRM Challenge. I have to say from the photos he has built a nice car that he gave to his Grand Father as a b-day present and did it for $1464.87 US dollars. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/855853632_Locost%207%20GRM%20Article.jpg Nice job Shaun Hinds if you are a memeber of this group and reading this post.
  22. I also was woundering if he lost his lunch besides being able to walk after that. I have been in a couple of airplanes that can come close to some of those moves but with more time in between them and I still had a hard time keeping my stomach under control, an my head felt like the smiley shown.
