  1. Whatever you pick, I would just caution not to have a mirror at normal eye level. That causes aa blind spot you don't want. Checking a mirror is a fairly deliberate glance, so looking down slightly is not an inconvenience. Others may disagree, but they are wrong.
  2. And you saved the weight of all that paint and/or chrome! Even polished off a little metal.
  3. Might be just the thing if you're headed way down South to escape winter: Over the last few months, the Fraser team have been restoring a Fraser that was unfortunately written off in a minor accident. We purchased the car off the insurance company and have repaired the car back to better than it was before the crash. We are now pleased to offer the car up for sale to some lucky sod just in time for Christmas! It's powered by the proven 2L Toyota 3SGE on twin weber carbs. It has inboard front suspension and de dion rear suspension. It is the perfect car for either road touring and/or track days and is immaculately presented in bright yellow. If you think this is the perfect filler for your own stocking, give the factory a call 09 482 0071 or email dan@fraser.co.nz and we'll happily run you through the details and arrange a viewing.
  4. If I buy the wheels, are the cars thrown in the deal? On BAT
  5. I second the motion for a video. There should be bystanders with photos to share with you (us). Fun concept. Totally agree with your comment about learning to drive it. That's how I felt the first time I autocrossed the 7. High cg, skinny tires, leather helmet...
  6. Great look with the first test. Looks great. Pics?
  7. New track car on BAT: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/seven-style-track-car/
  8. A picture is worth a thousand words, but a picture and ten words is worth a million. I'd like to see some words to go with this picture. "Cats mating in the wild get a bit rough."
  9. I had both those Dunpops and Falken Azenis (sp?) 650K (?) on a Miata for autocross and street. Felt and scored the same. Falkens cheaper.

  11. OK, it's not a Seven. But as an electric sport car, looks to be great. https://goodwoodnews.com/1QLU-8GBMX-6UCMB1-5ASK6M-1/c.aspx
  12. I'm just more of a Dia de los Muertos guy. Much better holiday.
  13. That is SO wrong. But funny.
  14. As if we were not jealous enough. End with: "Off to Goodwood next week."
  15. Looks like some kind of Halloween photo. Eaten alive!
  16. Great run I'll bet. Cool photos. BTW, "Ford GT", not GT40.
  17. A turn down will spread the sound a bit. I would guess that i you route to the rear, you would just add another silencer element there.
  18. Congratulations. That will be well worth the work.
  19. Wonderful write-ups with visuals. Thanks. Love the red paint accents on the red P. What a German might call a badge of honor.
  20. I got a bicycle flag and fiberglass mast. Flag disintegrated in a day. I've tried cloth flags. A heavy good quality one made a racket, but a light duty one is quiet and has been OK for a few years.
  21. Better get used to all that grinning. Builds facial muscles and prevents wrinkles. Great job on the build.
  22. To get it ready in 2 weeks, you'll need one of those TV show shops.
  23. Congratulations! You've got to be feeling good about that start up.
