If it is going to be temporary, you could go a LOT cheaper with something similar to a MICO (ZF) brake lock. There are some with a tiny lever instead of a button. That would look hysterical in a Seven. Keep in mind it only locks in the pressure you have already applied to the hydraulic system. Some centuries ago, I was a UPS delivery boy and had a wonderful package car with a MICO brake. As I came to a stop, I could apply the MICO and be standing in the door when the van actually stopped. Back when UPS drivers were reputed to run. Heat? Try driving a Seven in 100 degree ambient weather. I've never noticed much heat except in winter, when it is welcome. The only hot spot was where my knee touches the tunnel. Felt like a proper burn. Fixed it with a pad glued to tunnel. Welcome to the nut house.

You might find a local company that services injectors. They may be able to check the spray to see if the 4 are the same. Should not cost much and probably could use cleaning anyway.

Agree. Our most likely fire is B (gasoline, etc) or C (electric) as stated. "A" would be small to start with, we are not an 18 wheeler with a tire fire. Anyway, water is the best thing for A, even if it's a ditch of water. C is usually going to be preceded by the smell or something not working, or smoke getting out of the wires. That's what the ignition switch or master battery disconnect are for, and the dry chemical BC if needed. B is the only one that really scares me and the BC is fine for that. If the one on the car is not enough, hopefully help arrives with another. Been on both ends of that. (IMHO, US DOT & WSO Safety & Security Director, ret.)

If you end up having the wheels rebalanced, if you can still make out the color dots on the tires, insist that they use them properly. Bridgestone has a good article on that. It can really make a substantial difference in weights required to balance, but few tire techs will bother.

Since all vehicle in the opposite left turn lane are bigger, we in a RHD especially are in a tough spot. I know 2 people that have had these "nose out" accidents and they were in regular, small cars, not RHD Sevens. We have to either be patient or watch for gaps and count cars when approaching, while we can still see something. "Taking control of the intersection" is legal in most states. You pull STRAIGHT in towards the middle of the intersection on GREEN. When the light turns red, you can still go , because you entered the intersection legally. Of course, you have to watch for the yellow-to-red runners, but starting traffic should yield to you. Still more dangerous than patience. Alternate plan is avoid it. If you know the area, like a city, sometimes 3 right turns is easier and takes the same time. This thread seems to be dissolving into a defensive driving course. Has Saudio had enough?

This is not the optimal way to go about it. Do not worry about the edges. Aim for the center. Say we are blasting between two close obstacles (left and right). If you look at one obstacle, you will hit it. We go where we look. Aim at the center of where you want to go. With a little experience, your brain knows where your body center is compared to the car center. The center of the car through the center space. Always follow the middle path, Grasshopper. Also be sure side mirrors are adjusted to show "blind" areas, not the rear. No blue sky in side mirrors. The rear is taken care of by the central mirror. Convex helps.

It takes training and different equipment to fight the type fire of the batteries. Even many regular municipal fire departments are not yet prepared, so some electric car fires are still just left to burn themselves out. That poses dangers to everyone and everything around, even the pavement. Much like a tire fire, it takes a LOT of water, but on a more massive scale. Drag it to standing water is the easiest (pond), but rarely convenient. A private race track simply can't begin to handle it.
