  1. Good value. I gladly pay $20 and appreciate the reminder I got around the first of the year. You do "Good Work" as the Buddha would say.
  2. The only experience I have with poly bushings was that I could not stand the squeaky noise, so I went back to rubber. That was on a Miata for autoross.
  3. It always seems to me that a lot of "criticism" is related to lake of experience with a certain car. I once had a discussion with an old, experienced F5000 friend. We agreed that in a car you really know well, you know in advance how the car will react to something like a bump. Take a car whose tail likes to step out over a bump. The front may stay planted, but the tail hop/slide is different. Knowing the car, you can anticipate it accurately and already have the tiny correction dialed into the steering almost before, or exactly as the tail jumps. No sweat, even entertaining,. Maybe an aid to rotation. Of course, if you didn't know the car, you'd call it a scary flaw.
  4. If you fit well in the bare tub, you might web search for Truckers Seat Cushion. Open cell or memory foam, with finished edges and no cutting.
  5. Lotus 6. Not in USA, but the photos are great viewing. https://www.handh.co.uk/private-sales/vehicles-for-sale/car127/
  6. Ha. I went strat to page 80 just to avoid that sort of thing. At least for now.
  7. So, when did ORG become NET?
  8. My late 80s Birkin was originally titled as Lotus 1965, in Illinois (1990). Transferring to a Texas title was as easy as any out of state car (2013). The usual state inspection (no smog required) and ID number verified by same inspector, and Bam. Easy. So IF your title says old Lotus, it may work.
  9. Anyway, how many thumbs does a person have. God bless moderators. You don't have to always agree with them, but they keep us from going to hell in a hand-basket.
  10. Oh yeah. That's a little ol thang. Didn't even fill the parking space. Down here, we don't call it a truck unless it spills over both white lines.
  11. Nice torque curve. I like your approach. Less weight. Maybe you should start a thread. "DYNO SHEETS". I bet the group has some interesting ones.
  12. Ahh, the interweb. I have given up on joining the Locost site, after several tries. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
  13. Hagerty covered my car with just a 3 digit chassis ID #. They also have policies for cars under restoration or storage, so... it's a free call. Good luck. Or go naked and just worry; be paranoid; uptight; scared...
  14. Welcome. Nice to see another Birkin. Enjoy it.
  15. Great photo or the Seven owner. Congratulations to both of you.
  16. Your talk on aerodynamics was really taken to heart by the girl with yellow car with the multiple vortex generators. Without the & on the grill, I could see that as a Shelby. Great dad work.
  17. Thanks, Croc for going off topic. And a big thanks to our moderator for moving this thread. Until your handle popped up, I had not read the thread since it moved. Saves me a lot of time and consternation.
  18. Nice concept. You may just be inventing something many & owners will want.
  19. I am in the 35%group. The very early end.
  20. By the way, welcome back. I'm sure all the Seven hunters have missed your weekly work while you were on sabbatical.
  21. New listing on BAT: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1991-westfield-se/
  22. You might even consider camping. Many people do so at the races on the continent. You miss the full hotels and long commutes. I did so at Austria and met great folks that camp at all the Fi European races. Just another idea.
  23. I've never had a problem driving across the country with a paper 30 day tag. Laminate it and put it in the regular plate holder. Texas limits a car to 3 in a year. I went through all those in the 9 months it took to get a title/registration.
