  1. Best use of a yoga thing that I can think of.
  2. I have Hagerty and I'm very happy with them. I believe that their track day coverage is on a day to day basis, so you pay for what you use, when you are going to use it.
  3. Congrats. And a great bumper sticker!
  4. Gads! It's beginning to look like a motorcar.
  5. I thought the Slingshot was interesting when first introduced. BUT, checked it and thought "why is it 500 pounds heavier than a Seven?" Heavy tubes and thick fiberglass! Too heavy with nothing a Seven can't have. The new engine might be a good replacement for a Seven IF it is light.
  6. Well said, Bruce. So happens I had a long chat with a Morgan trike owner at C&C this morning and he sounded a lot like a Seven owner. However his interior was so beautifully trimmed I could hardly believe it. Turns out he liked so much of a similar experience as a road driven Seven. As an aside, the slant 6 Valiants did very well in Mexico against the Falcons.
  7. So, what is with all those Build Threads? It says right here that you car build it in 24 hours! Of course, they had 3-4 guys, so it might take a whole weekend. It couldn't be on the interwebb if it wasn't true. Right?
  8. Nice looking seats. The last photo seems to have Zoom Zoom Vroom Vroom sounds imbedded.
  9. The geography is also off. Ad says near Beaumont. But the mountains are either not in Texas or maybe some angle of the Chisos mountains along the border nearish to Terlingua, about 700 miles west.
  10. Yeah, with the silver car next to it and the wires, I'd say you're both right. And you are very fortunate on the wife front.
  11. Original idea? Big mirror so you can see yourself in the car.
  12. EU and UK appear to see the light on low volume makers. https://www.hagerty.co.uk/articles/news-articles/low-volume-sports-car-makers-exempt-from-eu-2035-ban/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email_&utm_campaign=newsletter&utm_content=_&utm_term=
  13. Congratulations. It's always good to get what you want for Christmas. Or the Ides of March, or whatever.
  14. Welcome aboard. I'm envious of your location, compared to Dallas. Nice roads down there.
  15. Looks like Bruce's Lola leads the pack. OK, Foyt's Lola. Poster on auction at https://ontime.mecum.com/auction/232/item/scca-1944-1969-race-poster-36976/
  16. Googled. Can't see 4 stroke or 2? Weight? Should be very light. Like Fastg said, trans adaptation could be a buggar. Very interesting.
  17. "... If you ever drive my Lola, the things I will be saying about you while you are out on the track . . ." If he's on track in the Lola, I doubt he will care what you say about him.
  18. Article about SCODA (not Seven): https://www.racingarchives.org/blogpost/scoda-a-concise-history/
  19. Can't laugh at that. I did it once, though not looking quite so fetching. L89 (427/435 hp) Corvette that had been sitting. I did a careful routine for sleepers, then was ready to add coolant. Poured a cup or two before I realized that jug had old motor oil. Duh. A few flushes later and all was well. Since then (40 yr.?) I only punch 2 small holes in the foil while a jug has coolant. No foil may mean motor oil, other waste. What a moron.
  20. So, if they still made a station wagon, with fold down seats, you really could carry the Birkin in it.
  21. Pretty sure you mean cm where you show mm. A Millimeter is a tiny little devil, hard to catch. A cm is more like 3/8 of an inch for the Gringos, and so 30 some would be about 1/3 of a meter (think yard + 3 inches) for your seat measurements. USA, give it up, just go metric! Sorry, hot spot.
