  1. Thanks to Bill T. for hosting the get together, Atwell H. for planning the drive, and everyone else who contributed. Nancy and I had a lot of fun! Hope everyone made it home safe, and Jon, I hope you were able to solve your "small" problem. Sorry we couldn't stay longer to help you out more. After tonight's drive home, I think I finally convinced Nancy that a heated jacket would make a nice Christmas present.
  2. Me too, I'm glad to see any American manufacturer do well at this point... My Emerald K3 ECU has three separate maps that are switchable on the fly. Check it out here: http://www.emeraldm3d.com/em_k3.html
  3. I always feel that what ever I say can never express my true gratitude for everything that they've done and continue to do. Thank you and God bless. :flag:

  5. Good one! I guess I should consider myself lucky because Nancy actually wanted a pressure washer for Christmas a couple years ago. I was happy to oblige!
  6. My slave cylinder is leaking and my RF fender bracket is cracked, but as long as I can get the repairs done before Sunday, Nancy and I should be able to make it for the drive. The weather is looking pretty good for the weekend!
  7. Congrats Glen, keep us updated on how the build goes!
  8. Didn't even think of that! LOL I think it'd be neat to have a RHD car in the states. Especially a Seven where you're so close to the centerline of the car anyway....
  9. The high bid was $2225.00 but it didn't meet reserve so it didn't sell. I'm REALLY surprised it didn't bid higher....
  10. The car sold with a Buy-It-Now price of $14,900. I hope the frame turns out to be in decent shape or that's going to be an expensive restoration. I do like those Cosmic wheels...

  13. Here's proof!
  14. Since the Seven is considered the closest thing to a 4-wheeled motorcycle, I think you have to look to the motorcycle world for the most comfortable options. I picked up a Gerbing heated jacket liner and temp controller last year and it's the best thing I've ever done for cold weather driving. It heats up within moments of turning it on and I'm toasty all the way to work. I use a balaclava or hooded sweatshirt to keep my head warm and some decent gloves to keep my hands warm but the rest of me stays warm just by heating my core. I removed my heater/blower unit to free up some space under the dash/hood and I only use the doors when the temps are around 30 or below. It's not a cheap option but for someone who likes to extend the driving season as long as possible it's worth it! Read about it here: http://gerbing.com/
  15. James - I sent you a PM. Thanks
  16. Here's a link showing a typical layout of lines/filter/regulator/etc: http://www.tptools.com/StaticText/airline-piping-diagram.pdf I used 3/4" galvanized pipe in two separate zones for the garage and basement shop. I have 4-5 drains at different locations and ran 25' of pipe before the filter/separator. Flex line between the compressor and hard line. It's worked fine for me for ten years now. Just need a bigger compressor at this point!
  17. James - You have a PM.

  20. Looks interesting! Is that a Quaife?
  21. Sorry Skip. I think I found that picture on Blatchat and I don't think there were any other views with it. Mike - I agree with you. That photo does seem to emphasize/enhance the size difference.
  22. Here's a photo I found a while back showing the difference in size between a standard car and an SV:
