  1. Sweeeeet!! love the cone deflectors. Your wings (fenders) will love them too. Are they removable? Bring it to the Midwest Se7ens Gathering outside St Louis in June. I would love to see it in person. Russ

  5. Ok picked up the engine last week so I now WILL need a header.
  6. As of right now reserve June 5-7, 2014 for the 6th Annual Midwest Se7ens Gathering. I will be going to the Hermann, Mo (just west of St Louis) area in late January to start scouting out the roads and the wineries. The area around Hermann is famous for its wine. So keep your fingers crossed that I have good luck down there. Russ "Your 2014 Gathering Coordinator" Amos

  10. I might be upgrading to a 1600cc xflow so does any one have a header they want to get rid of? I am NOT looking for a cast iron one. Tks Russ
  11. Pretty straight forward on my xflow locost. The intake manifold on mine had a fitting from the water pump and I just spliced it to that. I added a couple of ball valves to divert the water for heat or no heat. I have an aftermarket heater in the engine compartment that provides heat to the interior. Would have been nicer if I could have had the heater in the interior but could not find one at the time. I think there are several smaller heaters out there now that could mount in the skuttle. Russ
  12. We are having a get together this Saturday Nov 2nd in KC so if anyone is in the area and wants to attend PM me. Looks like we are going to have 3 Locosts and a Caterham attending. Russ

  14. Caterhams imported to North America are LH drive. But you may find one that is RH drive like I have. It is a British made Locost. Pedals are the same as a LH drive. Russ
  15. Here is a car that is not that far from you. Although not a se7en it looks to be a nice one. http://www.locostusa.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=14997
  16. Where are you located? Are you looking for a complete car or someones abandoned project? Do you want an original Seven or a Locost? The Spitfire is an OK engine but not a rocket ship. What are you wanting to do with the car? Autocross, trackdays, Sunday cruises? November through April is a good time to find a car. Russ
  17. Try a product called "Purple Ice", by Royal Purple, in the radiator to lower the water temp. It works in mine. Actually 205deg is about normal running temp for modern engines, although my se7en runs about 190deg most of the time. Russ
  18. Don't give Skip any ideas. He already drives like a bat out of hell. Russ
  19. If you won your class you probably got one of the trophies I made. I make them I don't win them!!!!!Russ

  22. There is a lady in Wichita that has a Birkin and her boyfriend drives a Stalker. Russ
  23. Come on Bessie, lighten up. I am sure you have been called a "Dune Buggy" before which is much worse than a "Dutton" or "Beaver"?. TeeHee
  24. Pictures do not do Hotttcar justice. You have to see it in person (and hear it). Russ
  25. I drive mine in heavy traffic sometimes but avoid it if possible. I find that most people give me a wide berth, mainly so they can get a better look at my car. Russ
