As of right now reserve June 5-7, 2014 for the 6th Annual Midwest Se7ens Gathering. I will be going to the Hermann, Mo (just west of St Louis) area in late January to start scouting out the roads and the wineries. The area around Hermann is famous for its wine. So keep your fingers crossed that I have good luck down there.

Welcome, Mike. I think you will be very pleased with the Westy. My daughter lives in Boston and my son goes to WPI so I might get to see your car some day so hurry and get ti running. Russ
Pretty straight forward on my xflow locost. The intake manifold on mine had a fitting from the water pump and I just spliced it to that. I added a couple of ball valves to divert the water for heat or no heat. I have an aftermarket heater in the engine compartment that provides heat to the interior. Would have been nicer if I could have had the heater in the interior but could not find one at the time. I think there are several smaller heaters out there now that could mount in the skuttle. Russ
We are having a get together this Saturday Nov 2nd in KC so if anyone is in the area and wants to attend PM me. Looks like we are going to have 3 Locosts and a Caterham attending. Russ

Caterhams imported to North America are LH drive. But you may find one that is RH drive like I have. It is a British made Locost. Pedals are the same as a LH drive. Russ
Here is a car that is not that far from you. Although not a se7en it looks to be a nice one. http://www.locostusa.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=14997
Where are you located? Are you looking for a complete car or someones abandoned project? Do you want an original Seven or a Locost? The Spitfire is an OK engine but not a rocket ship. What are you wanting to do with the car? Autocross, trackdays, Sunday cruises? November through April is a good time to find a car. Russ
Try a product called "Purple Ice", by Royal Purple, in the radiator to lower the water temp. It works in mine. Actually 205deg is about normal running temp for modern engines, although my se7en runs about 190deg most of the time. Russ
I drive mine in heavy traffic sometimes but avoid it if possible. I find that most people give me a wide berth, mainly so they can get a better look at my car. Russ
F40 is a cool place. I stopped by there in November to see what it was like. Saw Wayne getting into a truck and take off right after we got there, so no autograph haha. Many real nice cars on the showroom floor. Russ
Don't forget there is a Se7ens Gathering in Colorado Springs in July. I'm sure they would love to have you. I wish I could go but life keeps getting in the way. Russ
