  1. please give the battery information. Did you happen to weigh it with the acid added?
  2. are the pliers size specific or universal?
  3. Ok, at $.85 ea. thsts affordable. I suppose Im offering to help someone unload extra stuff. I probably need a pin tool too
  4. Lending tools to "friends" too.
  5. MV, I agree completely on the weight issue. When I had a set of Panas unshod recently, I was quite surprised at the weight of supposedly light weight ali rims. I definitely don't want to go heavier. I have some ali hubs to go on. I need new races. My primary motivation for 14s is the diminutive selection of 13" rubber now. more locally available in 14.
  6. Thanks, MV8. I intend to keep the same overall diameter of a 185/70 R 13 with a 14" wheel, if I can find a Morris 4.75 PCD and matching hub and offsets. I need 5 inches ground clearance. And then, I have to like the spoke design. Adapting to 100 or 108 PCD would open up so many more options. My Yokos don't have DOT date codes, but I put them on in 07. They didn't get much use. Id trust them up to 30-40mph, but no more, not for long.
  7. I tried to pull it out but couldn't.
  8. Width= 1.25" / 32mm Thick= 5/8" / 16mm Height= 2" I don't know what it takes to remove it, but to get it to go back down, pull the cushion forward while pushing down. No buttons. These are the Sir Roger Moore velour specials. I mostly see the leather versions.
  9. Y, if its any help, I tried to ID these seats, looking at lots of pictures. From what I could tell most of the BDR 7s got those seats. Unofficially, they might be referred to as BDR seats. I will be removing one of mine soon for bodywork. I will look for any labels. Also, do your seats have head rest post holes? Many did not.
  10. I measured 5/32 for Caterham panels. If you used them on a Cat, they should work for me.
  11. Really good news! Rocker cover came off, first time in 15 years, and after sitting for the last 10.... the #1 exhaust has been compressed for several years. I only rotated it occasionally, with some oil in cylinders. Should these springs be replaced? Valves lapped? Hell, let's just do it all with bronze valve guides! Ill set up the go fund me account now.
  12. I believe it may be for a Ztec It is magnetic
  13. On PPF, if it is applied to bare aluminum, does the aluminum still oxidize under the surface because it is exposed to air prior to application?
  14. yes, stand alone. I might have to cut a hole for one of these. I don't like cutting.
  15. last time Burton/Caterham sent me parts FedEx they got here in days. last one in 3 days.
  16. Hi, Looking for a simple LED oxygen meter to use with a O2 sensor. Something small for temporary use. Do these things require an ECU?
  17. @Sevins7 Wow! No problem with the hijack. Ray, you are far more interesting than the tired old seat subject! Would you consider having the old bench seats re-foamed?
  18. Dave bean has them in stock. not cheap, but of you figure in shipping, its not bad.
  19. Oh yes. An EV kit for Seven is a top priority for many. Um sure there will be one in the Caterham lineup soon.
  20. I wasn't impressed.... until I saw it has a water jacket
  21. In the event you might have a spring clip come loose , fish around the bottom of the bell for one. If you find one, its it's coming out for a clutch job. From the 1995 build guide
  22. I got the the wrong BH. The pin is this type
