  1. similar dilemma with a formula ford years ago we pushed the car up the ramps backwards (heavy end first) until the first contact, then three of us lifted the front up and pushed it in ok, so the front of a FFord is maybe 300#, but how many guys would it take to lift the back of a 7 if the fuel tank was empty?
  2. Try Dave Clubine at Britain West Motorsports, they run Formula Fords, etc, a 7 would be a no-brainer for them.
  3. While appreciating that live axle cars get rarer by the month, these still need to go. Open to sensible offers..... 912-sevenonethree-3962 cheers
  4. Although still on the fence, I was in contact with superformance over a potential purchase, and am now even more curious what the $500 "preparation" fee covers.
  5. sorry, "available" No affiliation ….. http://www.apexspeed.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61629
  6. Ah, ok, I've only ever had live axle 7's. These were bought for a live axle, can't say if they are suitable for a deDion. Anyone out there can say one way or another? thanks
  7. correct, fixed spring perches
  8. sorry, not sure I understand the under-slung question
  9. Got busy on other car projects and forgot all about these. Still available, how about offers? thanks.
  10. Passport Transport, no hesitation, several happy experiences with x-country deliveries.
  11. hey Paul, FWIW, when I was trying to resell that somewhat disappointing 7 I bought last year I had way more people complain about it being RHD than they did about its condition. Never bothered me, I figured it added to the appeal, but there you go....
  12. from new build (no) or with existing out-of state title (yes) ?
  13. thx for info, but there are many 5-speed transmissions that fit a 7. When you ordered it, did they discuss options? if not, likely the standard too-low-first-5-speed. Any way you could find out? thx
  14. No air filter visible, so fuel injected? Stock Ford system? Stock ECU? Where was engine sourced? What history? Presume 5-speed box; close ratio or std T9? thanks

    Zetec Details

If your car was previously owned by someone that would do that, does it make you wonder what else he might have done that you're not seeing..... ?
  16. Not sure the extent to which they still stock T9 stuff, but there's an incredible place in Plano, Texas called Taylor race Engineering for quaife, gearboxes, diff's, rebuilds, etc etc
  17. here's what I found for "under hood".... ok, maybe the dizzy goes for a bit more than just postage :-) let me know, shipping from 31322
  18. bummer story !!!! let me check whats in the parts boxes, it'll definitely be a "postage only" deal........ :-)
  19. Tried this, doesn't work. The high edge walls that line the inside edge of the runners will gouge the underside of a 7.
  20. spend what your head is worth, no second chances :-)
  21. how about a Fuel-Safe fuel cell with bladder as well as the bracing.....?
  22. Sorry, sold it 2 years ago when I moved down here, EPA wouldn't let me bring it in from Canada. Left all the paperwork with the buyer, who may still lurk here, he used to.....
  23. Curious, why is this brand new car for sale?
  24. Could be, or close. FWIW, Caterham told me they sold me the last cross-flow chassis back in 2002, but then again, they told me a few things that turned out to be ....optimistic lets say. LOL
