  1. Mike, Karl said that he would try to make it down for a day. Guess it just depends on how busy he is. Hopefully, he'll make an appearance. I plan on taking a trip and visiting his new place soon. Tom
  2. Fixed that for you. :seeya:
  3. No, Steve, not yet. I switched to a 20 psi cap on the expansion tank and although the coolant level rose, it didn't puke. It was still under pressure 2 days later when I tried to open the cap. Lifting the tank up above the head let a little drain out and then when I opened the bleed bolt on the radiator and then opened the cap on the expansion tank, it all drained back into the system. Going to try relocating the expansion tank up onto the firewall next. :smash: Three exhaust gas tests were negative and the level doesn't rise after 50 minutes of idling. Only pressurizes when I run it hard on track above 5500 rpm. Really frustrating.
  4. Will Croc's garage be presentable? Will I have sorted out my coolant issue? Will JeffS still be the second fastest Yellow car? Will the two Orange Superformance S1's be the prettiest cars out there? Will Kitcat reclaim his Spin trophy from Roman? Did Steve M start polishing his Caterham yet? Will Stewart's BDR be driven by him or his Wife? Will Seb have to buy another Caterham for Kelli? Will Michael D have more than 3 cylinders running this year? Will Simon and Seb know which Red Caterham is their's? Will Suave and Xcarguy get permission to attend next year's event? Only 8 more weeks to find out? Still hoping that a few others will get the itch and join in on the fun. Tom
  5. My Mommy, The Dancer One day a fourth-grade teacher asked the children in her class what their mothers did for a living. All the typical answers came up -- teacher, nurse, businesswoman, saleswoman, doctor, lawyer, and so forth. However, little Johnny was being uncharacteristically quiet, so when the teacher gently prodded him about his mother, He replied, "Well my mother's an exotic dancer in a club and takes off all her clothes in front of men, and they put money in her underwear. Sometimes, if the offer is really good, she will go home with some guy and stay with him all night for money." The teacher, obviously shaken by this bold statement, hurriedly set the other children to work on some exercises and then took little Johnny aside to quietly ask him, "Is that really true about your mother, dear?" Nope," the boy said, "She works for the Democratic National Committee and is helping to get Hillary Clinton to be the next President, but I was too embarrassed to say that In front of the other kids."
  6. Maybe because I was standing next to it? :smilielol5:

  8. Sabbot is now registered! :seeya: That makes 10 registered so far. Just 9 weeks to go! Those of you who are dragging your feet, Just make sure that you make hotel reservations as the local hotels do tend to sell out during the summer Shore vacation period as NJMP is only 35 miles from the Shore. Tom

  20. Great Michael, Looking forward to seeing your car on track at full power this year. I was at the Amelia Island Concourse this weekend and bumped into a Birkin owner from Pa. who had a car being judged and it did win an award, and he said that he and his wife were also in for this year. Potential Attendance is looking good for another great turnout. Now if we can convince our Club officers to get on the bandwagon and make an appearance. 21. I spoke with a couple of other Caterham owners who both attended last year's event and they both said they were looking forward to joining in again this year. Since they don't frequent this site to chime in, I'll add them with their approval. That brings us up to 16 se7ens on track and a couple of spectating 7 owners. The more the Merrier. Hope to see a few more added to the list.
