Joe Mills of NJMP Drivers club has just emailed around the schedule for Friday.

If you registered and do not see an email then please check your spam folder.

Pasting from that email below:

Thursday, 9/5:

Trailer drop-off/unloading at Thunderbolt will be permitted after 7:00 PM

Friday, 9/6

Gates open at 6:30 AM

NOTE: This event will be a LATE START

Breakfast will be available from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Finish Line Pub.  Lunch will be available also at the Finish Line Pub.

Registration and Tech Inspection will open at 8:30 AM.  All Drivers and Guests/Crew must check-in at Registration.  All cars must be inspected prior to running on the track.

Please arrive early.  It is NOT reasonable to arrive at 9:15 AM and expect to get through Registration and Tech Inspection prior to the 9:30 AM Drivers Meeting.

Please be sure your vehicle is in proper order when presenting to Tech Inspection.  Your helmet is required at Tech Inspection.

The Mandatory Drivers Meeting will begin promptly at 9:30 AM.  All Drivers MUST Attend.  No Exceptions.

I will note that if you say you are headed to garage 367 you will be allowed in early rather than held outside the NJMP property until 7pm.  I can then sort out early trailer drop off on Thursday at the pits.  Tom, Simon and myself are testing on Thunderbolt on Thursday and will be in the pits.  Use our names at the gatehouse if needed.

Dinner at clubhouse or have you found a new place in town?

I have a reservation tonight (Thursday September 5) at the Green Olive in Vineland (near Holiday Inn / Fairfield) at 7pm for 8ppl.  Its been hard to guess who is coming in or not tonight.  If you want to join the dinner tonight please chime in here or text me (most of you have my cell phone by now).

For Friday night (September 6) we will be at the NJMP clubhouse.  Easier to roll off a track and into a refreshing beverage.

For those staying over Saturday night we will put something together once we know who is staying.

Hi all,

Unfortunately, I will not make this year's event. Between work Friday, an expired Hans device, and the fact that I haven't even touched my 7 this year, it just got ahead of me. Friday was never going to happen, but I likely would have made Saturday otherwise.

I'll be watching here vicariously.

Best to all, and have a great time.

Beautiful day on track!  Thanks Croc!

Simon is still working on the oil pump pulley issue but he expects it to be ready for tomorrow.   Yellow ran well today.  First time I’ve had it out on track in a year or two.  Had to relearn the heel and toe and manual shifting.  Orange spoiled me with the paddle shifters.   Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.  Tom

And we have a winner - first breakdown of the event.  Also second breakdown of the event.  (Misfire then threw an oil pump belt).

It doesn't seem fair to Vlad and the others to give Simon a one-day head start to breakdown.  Shouldn't the clock start Friday at 8:30 with the commencement of tech inspections? I hate to see someone lodge a formal protest later.

I had a nice conversation with Croc the other day and while I won't be running, I'd love to meet some folks and get a look at some different 7 flavors. He pointed out this is probably the greatest number I'll have a chance to see in one place. I'm aiming to get there mid morning Friday and stay until mid afternoon. I'm happy to lend a hand wrenching, holding stuff, checking tire pressures, or anything else.

But breaking an oil pump pulley is very special.  Never seen one disintegrate on a seven before.  I think Vlad will cope with minimal tears.

Just got here. Don't want to wake everybody up. Will get it into garage tomorrow morning when @SmallerThanVov wakes up the family at 6am on the regular.
