I presently have a nice 2L Vaux 20xe that I've had for a year now, love it but want to upgrade to a recent 360/420 street model.... thanks.

No budget restrictions...will ship from wherever in the US..live in Az.

Looking for a street (windshield, doors etc. heater) 360/420/180 hp min. Duratec model...this will not be tracked..can go with either the reg S3 body or the wide.  Otherwise I am pretty open.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Well I bought an r400 that looks good with low miles, a full history of maintenance and it is in pristine shape.  Thanks for the help and suggestions gents.  I'll post pics upon arrival....

Weather gear can be easily added. I wouldn't let that be a sticking point.

I took your advice and will look for a proper windscreen and doors....

That is such a cool spec, hope you enjoy it!

I'll do my best...money paid/docs signed/tires enroute and now for a transport...lousy time of the year to do that but ....fingers crossed.  This is the best driving time of the year in Az...75 today

Well, the older Vaux 2L is nice and I bought that blind, I'd never seen a Caterham in person let alone driven one... but it gave me the bug...and a mask and six feet of separation had no effect.

I may keep the HPC too...have both of them.  I don't need to tell anyone here how fantastic they are.

Nice spec.

I think the full wind screen, although looks proper on the car, is more trouble over 50mph than it's worth.  The mini screen on there should be effective over 40mph.

In that car, I think I would opt for a matching 3/4 helmet with half face shield.  You would look perfect. Wind, buffeting, coms, safety, music, etc., would all be taken care of with a helmet.  You may have to remove the head resets for helmet use.

But, yes a black frame screen will finish off the car nicely.

Put a WTB for one on the parts for sale to see if anyone bites. Check previous posts as well.

I'll try the present shorty but I often take the wife for drives and would want the protection the full screen offers.
