You do in fact provide a very good service for both buyer and seller and would classify this thread as- A market maker for 7s. Think that a "thank you very much" can be said from all of us here.

Yep, what he said. And that's really good coffee. :iagree:

I try to read it every week. It is a great resource. I'm sure it takes quite some time for you to compile.

I used it to see what value to put on my Locost when I sold it last Fall/Spring (the one now listed by it's new owner on eBay/Craigslist in Columbus)

For some insane reason, I still look at this thread. Maybe I haven't kicked the habit yet?

Yes, I waited for it each week when I was looking for a car. I ended up buying a car from George Alderman that was not listed but the resource was valuable (and appreciated http://www.usa7s.net/vb/webkit-fake-url://165d77a3-cf14-4442-ab51-ee7de9fcec41/imagegif)and led me to a couple of cars.

Acording to his website, Mid-Atlantic still has the other car I looked at, a beautiful 40th anniversary S3 with a Sigma engine.

Croc, Your weekly listings really do serve as a significant market maker for sevenesque cars. I am on my third Stalker and I think two of them were identified with this weekly update you provide us. The third Stalker was the charm and it is likely that it will be my last 7 style car. It only has 3500 miles and is a beauty to look at and run heck out of it. I both enjoy riding around the countryside and autocrossing this fun machine. Like others, even though I may no longer be in the market, I look forward with great anticipation each week to seeing what is available. Thanks for your hard work. Bob

OK, before Croc gets the big head, let's just agree that we love this thread. And what about the millions (or hundreds?) aspiring to have a Seven? If a poor ignorant soul reads the sticker on the back of my roll bar "USA7s.com", they may well go to the web site and surely this thread will be of immediate interest. Links to cheap ones, or wonderful ones like the Series 2 in Classiccars.com might be enough to sink the hook. Great educational (addictive?) value for the multitudes. Can I get an Amen?

Dumb question - but does anyone actually use this list to buy? Or is it just the coffee club for mothers to kill time on a Sunday morning?

Amen to good reading! I’ve had my Locost just over 2 years now. Would not have come across it without Croc’s keen eye! Thanks for the entertaining, insightful service!

Thank you for the feedback. From my perspective when you just make these posts and you don't see much response you do wonder whether the post is serving any purpose. Reality checks are needed from time to time.

Mind you it does keep me away from car hunting my bucket list of non-seven cars that I am dreaming of buying.....that could be far more expensive than time....

I'm one of the silent readers. Definitely appreciate all the effort in keeping the market recap up to date.

I was pursuing a couple of cars listed in this thread until my wife spent my funds on renovations for the retirement condo :-(

Two runners and one kit are gone now. One kit is still listed but I'm not sure I want that one.

I'm still reading through this thread in preparation for when I get my toy fund rebuilt :-)

Aspiring 7 owner here. Always read this thread.

Holding out for a car I can register in Massachusetts so it may be forever. Previously titled Virgina cars will likely also work.

I suspect there are many like this. I read — with a focus on croc’s listings twice a week. Someday I fully expect I will find an Illinois titled seven built for a tall dude and pull the trigger. Now, I just need you all to post more track vids and I will be happy. 😆

Drewbrese - I purchased my blue 2004 WCM S2K in Virginia, from the original owner. It had a Virginia title. It is now for sale. See my add elsewhere in this site under the forum category Sevens for Sale. I'm also going to repeat my ad on this thread. Bruce 810-938-1010.

My 2004 WCM S2K Super Seven is for sale. This is an extreme performance vehicle, comparable to the 260 HP Cosworth-massaged Caterham SVR. The factory Wilwood brakes are phenomenal, and I have spent years dialing in the suspension, fuel, lube and other systems. The car's miniscule weight of 1,250 pounds is propelled through six gears by an all-aluminum 243 HP, 9,000 RPM, Formula One-derived Honda S2000 engine. 0 to 60 arrives in just over 3 seconds, insuring that you will not be shamed at streetlights by anything less than a Dodge Demon - and if you meet that Demon on a road course, it's arrivederci, baby!

My Seven is a full roadster, with individual windscreens and no top. The S2000 engine and trans have recorded 13,000 miles from new. The Subaru WRX rear suspension was upgraded to a 3.9:1 ratio LSD. Every brace and suspension mod recommended by the manufacturer has been installed, plus a complete new set of nylon and teflon heim joints, new uprated Moog ball joints and both bump-steer mods. Also fitted is a rear-mounted 3-quart Canton Accusump, which pre-oils the motor upon startup and adds oil if the pump cavitates in long turns. The engine is equipped with a Moroso baffled 7 quart aluminum oil sump - including the Accusump and lines, over 10 quarts of Amsoil racing synthetic 20W50 oil are available to the motor (Amsoil used exclusively since new). Also installed is a rear-mounted two-gallon anti-surge fuel system, so the engine cannot starve for fuel in long sweepers. Both the aforementioned fuel and oil systems, plus the mounting bracket, are aluminum for weight savings. ALL fuel and oil lines are stainless steel braided with -AN fittings. The new PIAA 525 halogen headlights with high and low beams and LED running lights are incredible - I have seen them reflected over a mile away. The exhaust system was cat-deleted and ceramic-coated last year. Note the GoPro camera mount on the roll bar. The driveshaft is new. The Toyo R888 rubber is excellent. Not shown in the photos are new carbon fiber aero-style side view mirrors, and a 170 degree field-of-vision stalk-mounted center mirror - over $700 in mirrors. The steering wheel is detachable Sparco and horns are FIAMM air (Ferrari sound). I recently installed an improved AEM System ECU and dyno-tuned the motor. The cost was $1,600, and including the cat delete, the engine gained 6 HP over stock to 243. Car has been corner-weighted and aligned every spring by the best - Charlie at Auto Europe in Birmingham MI, using their four-wheel laser alignment rack.

The car has been stored in a heated garage, and never driven in rain or snow. I am the second owner.

The sale also includes a a set of mid-life Hoosier slicks mounted on Black Diamond 10" W x 15" D lightweight steel racing wheels.

For the Californians among us, this car has a standard Michigan title indicating year and make "1966 LOTUS", so tailpipe or other emissions tests should not be needed to acquire plates.

And since I am editor, the sale will most assuredly include a copy of the "WCM S2K & Other Sevens Maintenance & Upgrade Manual", a 190 page master plan for modding and maintaining this awesome sports car.

Following are some older photos. I will add new images in the following weeks. I will also provide additional details in subsequent posts. $30,000. PS - I will continue to edit and distribute our manual, even if I am without a Super Seven for a while:

That I can oblige with - browse these:

Tremendous! I started to get sucked in but work calls! I've got something to look forward to: sequential gearbox and much better lines than I can manage -- apparently all across Europe. Nice!
