Kitcat
I agree that the RHD is a negative, but don't consider it to be fatal. These cars are so narrow that it isn't a huge disadvantage to be on the "wrong" side. And, per my measurements of my first car, which was of identical spec, but LHD, the driver's side in this car is 10-15 degrees cooler thanks to exhaust being on opposite side. Also this set up helps with balance on clockwise tracks. I don't esp like all the rust on the undercarriage/space frame, per last photo. Also, Dedion or live, 4sp or 5 sp, short cockpit or long? And the price is $10K high. It does look great.
Croc
That's the PLUS side? G rated flight? I like sparkly things. He...she...err....it was being such a bitch to the flight attendants - wonderful to see. No G spots involved I can assure you. It was all good wholesome entertainment.
Croc
For that CT classic seven: SDKRDFA17P0005898 SDK = Caterham R = RHD D = DeDion F = Fully built (by Factory) A = Alternative (chassis type) 17 = 1700cc Super Sprint (Crossflow) P = 1993 0005898 = chassis number So that looks all in order. It is a UK build and registered - old UK plate can be seen in one photo. As it is 1993 then it can only have been in the USA 2 or so years. Any purchaser will make to make sure it comes with all its import paperwork in case a future state titling exercise needs it. Spec is nicely loaded, really nice cosmetics in the photos, looks suspiciously clean around the engine bay - these engines leak happily. All positive so far. The biggest thing with that car was identified by Kitcat. What happened underneath with the chassis powder coating? The rest of the car looks pristine and then hiding underneath is all that mess. Its likely superficial as it is now but you need to look hard because if it is in the tube inner then game over - walk away. Looks like salted road damage over a few seasons? It needs a good scrub back with a wire brush, get rid of the flaky powder coat everywhere and then a protective satin black coat of some suitable tough paint product. Not a difficult or time consuming job but one you don't normally see having to occur. Worst bit of the fix is putting the protective paper/plastic up to prevent overspray. The dealer should have done this to get the sale prepared. That said, kudos to the seller for not hiding it either - deserves a thumbs up for that. Value? I will probably get yet another nasty-gram from yet another dealer with this post. Using the data from past sales on this website then RHD is normally a downward adjustment ($2-5K) from the regular LHD market equivalent. They are harder to sell. At $32K this is higher end for a pristine LHD car with all the goodies. This one for sale is RHD and has some chassis damage remediation work (say $1.5-2K for a 3rd party to do?) to be performed in the short term. Inpsection will adjust value further I suspect as photo may not be complete. If you are serious about this one George then I would make sure you get someone familiar with these cars to go and inspect with you. Croc
I have 3 right hand drive cars - 2 of them in the US. No problem to me. But some people don’t like them and that’s their choice.

Black Hole
Love this one. https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer/caterham/super-7/2349158.html except for the fatal flaw RHD. This car is located right near me and I see they have some other interesting cars for sale. I believe they are located in one of the buildings of a historic 1800s axe factory which may be interesting. So if someone wanted an in person look I could make a visit. Croc
That Diva was not on last weeks list but it’s been on and off sale ads for the last two years struggling to sell. Not sure it’s a seven? Sized more like a heifer or stalker?

11Budlite
Didn't realize they were still using that original-type sway bar/upper control arm in 1997. Is that because it's a live axle car? Nice looking car either way. Nice looking car either way. It's surely a nice car! Whoever wins this is going to enjoy it. I was wondering about a solid axle car with a 5 speed? I thought they all had 4 speeds
TheDingo8MyBaby
The dedion/front upper wishbones were options in the kent powered cars up until the early 2000's I think. My old 1999 Supersprint was equipped the same way as this car.
georgedodson
I noticed that it has a "rebuilt Georgia title". Has anyone had experience registering a car with that kind of title in another state, in my case Tennessee?
