    A 2006 just now"... currently undergoing final assembly"? Were there some issues with it or just taken apart and put back together to make more presentable? The ad does not mention if the CSR has any mileage on it or if it is new.

    Only thing close would be a V8 Ariel Atom. Same basic theory as a 7, taken to a different level. Drivable to the track, especially if your track if close by.

    Looks somewhat like the original BMW Z3 Coupe. It wasn't too pretty either.

    I just figured out that the doors on my CSR, when removed and folded in half, fit quite nicely when placed vertically behind each seat. I assume this would apply to all SV series Caterhams. My recognition skills may be a little slow, but this was a nice answer that resolves at least one question for long drives.

    Ask your agent to specifically speak to the underwriter who handles classic and rare cars. It is the same person for OR and WA. PM me if you need the name of my agent, who can then provide the info to your SF agent.

    Going back to the original question, the best place to start is with the insurance agent who has the rest of your insurance policies (ie: auto and homeowners). They already have a relationship with you and will try to keep an existing customer happy.

    My CSR is with State Farm. No problem at all insuring it at a fair rate.

    I used flat black undercoating on my fender shields. They look quite nice and hold up well.

    I want to add a half hood (top) to my CSR. I have found several on the market such as Soft Bits For 7s, Thundersports and from the Caterham factory. Has anyone had any experience with these or others?

    Did you not listen to the video? Eight of eight trailers tested (3 times each) passed the test for a straight on hit in the center. Seven of the eight passed the partial offset test. The only problem were impacts on the edge of the trailer. This type of contact is very rare. The photo from xcarguy shows how well these guards work.

    Real or staged, your thoughts? If real, the next one could be video of Gordon's reaction when the salesman stops breathing. Would be funny to see Gordon on the side of the road with fake police and medics, pulling off his disguise and trying to explain who he is and what happened. The real handcuffs could make that real clicking sound.

    Kitcat - You did not read all of the details. Specifically, since it is presumed that the wealthy enjoy the daylight more than the rest of the citizens (yachts, dressage horses, etc.), they will actually have to give up 66 minutes. Of course, there are several proposed exemptions that will allow the highest earners to actually retain most of those minutes and still get an hour back later in the year.
