Yeah, if coverage is an issue, then it's a no-go. as far as I know, all cell phones consume alot of power when looking for a signal. My regular old LG flip phone which could run 4 days on a charge, would drain in less than a day if I had it on in areas with no coverage.

so far, I have it hooked up to google calendar, yahoo mail, and exchange server at work, and sync'ed it with google contacts. I bought 2 phones, and must be missing something because the sync with google contacts didn't quite differentiate between the two phones as I would have thought. Other than that, simply flawless. VPN connection to our work network worked perfectly the first time too. Again - amazing.

if iTouch had everything iPhone had except the service, then it'd be a winner. but lack of GPS kinda kills it.

I always knew they were 10 times better than anything else out there, and after 24 hours of having one, I think I underestimated how good they are. Simply an amazing device. I waited around for Verizon to do something with Apple, but finally got tired of it. Glad I made the switch so far.
  5. I'm missing all of those and the brass balls too.
  6. yeah, she was really flyin'
  7. I had a feeling it was gonna be a picture of my car in this post.
  8. heh, i saw that, but didn't click on it on youtube after I watched this... I figured they'd be the same result, but apparently not
  9. no respect for personal property :nonod:
  10. He OPENS it up around the 58 second mark for a second
  11. yeah, this is not a SCCA event
  12. heh, he said that's the rules... if we let you in, half the cars here will ditch their hoods next time. (secretly i was like ). I had a blast at this autox. 1st, because there were 6 runs. 2nd, because there was a fast section in the back where you run half way up 3rd before having to get on the brakes for a right hander. I tell ya, those cones start flyin' by quick...
  13. I already have a 1" gap in the middle and the edges of my old windshield frame if I just mount it on my new scuttle. I should try it. only problem is rain. I'm not really concerned about bugs. I think that area will still be out of the air stream, so you wouldn't get many bugs there.
  14. for yet another weekend, I could only make one of the two days. This time, Arya tagged along for his first autox. The car did better with lower tire pressures, but still ages behind Jeff and Gary. They ran in the 44s compared to my 50s. Slicks account for part of that time, the rest is driver and car. When you can drive Frankn7 without having to act like a responsible citizen, you realize how much more traction the car can use . I had a couple of multi-cone pileups on my last two runs as I tried to push the car a little harder. That was fun I've been asked not to come back though, until I can get a hood on my engine It's one of those projects I have been really putting off, but I guess now I have some motivation.
  15. The latest internet sensation.
  16. exactly, but still some places measure to the top of the windshield. Mine is designed to clear my helmet by 3" if I run it to the rad support.
  17. You're outa control
  18. Assume they both cost the same, and you were given the choice of either car, including maintenance and storage. YouTube - Top Gear Bugatti Veyron vs Mclaren f1
  19. yeah, i noticed that yesterday. way back in the day, there was only northeast and southeast sections... old habit
  20. I used to do that for a couple of years when I got my vette. Never with Frankn7, but then she is not much to look at. I only smile when I drive it
  21. anything to please PETA
  22. yes, he's game
  23. Martin, the broom stick test is not a problem at all. I made sure of that when coming up with the original roll bar height. My head clears even with no windshield (the way it should be IMO) The biggest problem with taking this pic was to make sure my 6 year old pointed the camera in the right direction. I guess I'm the only one who digs the raked look.
