  1. Yes, that is one of the 5 cars.
  2. Look in here, there is a section on S4. Not sure myself. Oh, sorry, it doesn't have the S4 section. I'll look at mine when I get home.
  3. Consider adding weight to the back of that hoist. Get the cat about 15 inches high to clear the transmission angle or chalk the front wheels good and raise the rear. Foam noodles, like pipe insulation, on all the frane tubes. Remove the radiator. Cover the head lamps. When mating the trans, put some Sachs clutch grease on the splines. When stabbing in the input shaft, be as level as possible and don't let it hang (droop) on the disc splines and pilot (spigot) bearing. Double check all eng and BH bolts and holes for mstching thread and depth BEFORE trying to mate. Torque bell housing bolts evenly to spec wirh a proper torque wrench, no guessing here. This is also a good time to plan for things like adding tunnel insulation, access holes for gearbox oil filling, etc. I highly recommend Allstar chassis stands. You want to move the car sideways, not the hoist.
  4. This Looks like it should with flat fingers. Definitely not curly.
  5. @Christopher smith will you post a pic of the CRB?
  6. What's the lug pattern on the Corolla?
  7. This is about Daylight Savings vs. Standard time, and the fixing of one or the orher. Very soon, probably by the time you have read this, the nation of Texas will have, as the law of the land, a standard, fixed, time zone. Texas, which could occupy two zones, has chosen Daylight Savings Time (henceforth DST) as the permanent time and Governor Hot Wheels will sign it. Hasn't this been tried before? Not the illegal codification of DST by a state, but a Federal national mandate of DST (Carter?). I believe didn't go well and was receded. Can't Texians learn from the past? After reading the arguments, DST vs. Standard time, I thought that daylight at 10PM was a fair trade off so kids could get to school in the daytime, doctors agree. Anyone who knows the issues will usually side with Standard time year round. So what has Texas done? And why? The problem with DST isn't changing the clocks. The clock in my car radio, the microwave, both shower Radios, and all my watches. It's doable. The problem is people have jobs or business that if they are late because they missed a time change, someone will absolutely loose thier sh!t and someone has a major problem to deal with. For some jobs, punctuality is critical. Airline pilots, ATC, radio programs, TV broadcasting, etc. It is for these people that the fixed time will be a great relief. But why DST, Texas? Why why why why???
  8. Yes, they would. The objective is to keep the same external diameter and circumstances. If you go too large you have problems with the spare tyre mounting because the center bracket boss (if you have one) is welded in a at a particular height and angle for a certain diameter. And the speedo issues. Do if you're 165s on 13s, (guessing) you will go down to 155s on 14s. And low profile on 15s. Honestly, in your situation with 4.25" PCD, you have so many options in wheels, Id be toying with finding different wheel styles in 14s. 14s good for road and look great. I got tired of the 13" minis a long time ago. I'm 3.75" PCD so my options are slim, like 5 cars, ever. And everything is rare as hens teeth. Anyone have any Vega wheels?
  9. OP, because you mentioned live axle, you aren't thinking of using motor oil in that, are you? Kiss your axle good bye. Your live axle will use a hypoid gear oil.
  10. The Pegasus item won't work?
  11. The reason for 13's is not for weight saving. The taller walls you will have with a 165-185 absorb a lot of road and are better in cornering. The rubber selection for 13 or 14 is scant regardless. I think your 14s are about perfect and I would trade my 3.75 13 minis for 14s any day.
  12. Seen the map? https://usa7s.net/ips/communitymap/ Most seveners are solitary creatures
  13. From a Jan 1996 build manual Locate the relay and tap it

  15. If you find a source for flat finger 190 covers in the states, please let me know. I'm wanting to stay with cable for now. Racer Walsh are all Pinto now but they used to support 1600. They know the parts. Ken at Dave Bean knows a lot too.
  16. With a concentric slave you should be using a flat finger with round face bearing. Can get the clutch cover from Pegasus now. https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecID=3558 No curly finger 190s anywhere. Might be easier to go to a 8". Not sure if you can keep the same ring gear and starter. I've read you can. You will have to find out. Or switch to a release that is compatible with a flat finger cover, what the Formula Ford guys are using? They use Hewland transmissions, nor sure if the spacing are the same. Surface and balance the FW. Get the 190 1x27 disc from Burton. If not Burton pm me, I have one.
  17. Add a voltage regulator??
  18. And looking good. On this car, can someone ID this regulator?
  19. I will have the filler neck, please. PM
  20. Donna Mae has been teasing the sales of her 7s for few months. It probably took her a while to settle on which one of the three to let go. Keeping the Coventry S1, I believe.
