  1. Another BRG watch. They say limited to 100 pieces. But I don't see why that's necessary for $2K wtist candy. It's hand wound gorgeousness. https://usd.farer.com/products/moritz-green?_kx=44HFIOYc5-gxwwDlpmm_8gaxv7PdoZazYN6zqlSYwTVvoTMYPf0b09Qhj4IZnctl.Yj8jLG Anyone have a Captian Cook to sell?
  2. @theDreamerWhat's on the back? Is it a caxton?
  3. Perhaps a serif 7 more like the Caterham?
  4. Well, put it here and we will try to help But you did say "suitable". I have more suggestions in 185s. More later.. Or are you wanting to stay closer to 155mm?
  5. My notes when I was looking for tall 4-5"x13 rubber. 4x13" 22" OD Smallest widths I found are 125, 145, 155 Dunlop SP Sport Aquajet 155HR13 155 R13 78H= 22.76" OD Coker Firestone F560 (Summitt has them) Coker Tire $125 145/80R13 PN# 00842199100037 Aspect 80 =22.29" OD FF Rubber Dunlop Racing "Formula Ford" F: 135/545R13 CR82 R: 165/580 R13 CR82 Dunlop Racing "Formula Ford" tires (135/545-13 CR82 front, 165/580-13 CR82 rear). Continental"ContiEcoContact 3" 165/70R13 79T Michelin 155 HR 13 Apologies for any inaccuracies, most of this is cut and paste.
  6. Yes. more pounds per contact sq inch. Which in a 1,200 Lb car, shouldn't be spread too thin. Not on a road anyway. But then, low pressure wide tires can absorb a lot of bounce and vibration. Marshmallow wheels.
  7. Badgers. Badgers in the seat do less damage than children. The bonnet can be placed in the cockpit wirh the narrow end resting on the tunnel and the wide end resting on the roll bar.
  8. An alternative to Quaife https://gripperlsd.com/product/ford-sierra-7/ The thing I want to avoid is the landing shock on the inside wheel, if it were to happen. It's more of a concern for me with my Ital, than for you. This kind of diff might be, gentler? Not sure. I am sure is more $$$ than quaife. It may be worth it. Not many players in this game for my Ital axle, but there should be more options for the Sierra.
  9. Whatever you do, DONT STOP! Kids national championship game, Nope. House fire, keep perishables in a shed. Wife wants a Hawaii trip Nope Cancer diagnosis It can wait a few more months Parent dies, Tell them they can't die until you finish If only I took my own advice. The curse is real. Everything imaginable will pop up to divert you from the project.
  10. You guys... https://www.7-dna.com/eugene/home.html
  11. Per Martin Phipps, Caterham archivist Caterham BRG: Axalta Centari paints (formerly DuPont) For one litre: Pigment code / grams AM32 = 227 43 = 399 6 = 478 1 = 488 AK 100 = 997 also mentioned: Ditzler #46446 / GN29 is similar my comments: Home depot and Lowes paint counters have a color identification device that will analyze a sample you bring. They may have a paint code you can take to an automotive paint application.
  12. Im considering a 1700 build for the AX, or the new cast 711M. (You always know if someone has an AX block; they will tell you). The crank doesn't need to be FF legal, and Im not wanting a FF fly-weight flywheel. Just bad shift bullet proof drivable road stuff.
  13. Anyone? PM me for offers or put suggestions here what to get and from who. Standard crank for a road car is OK. I am wanting steel just to not have to be too concerned wirh the rev limits going forward. Or in reverse.
  14. X-Flow chassis. Already have one with the rear hanger bracket. The left side wing lower edge is 2" higher than standard to clear the pipe passing underneath. Routes under the axle and up under the wing rear. When I ordered my replacement wing, I neglected to specify and got the standard wing for side exit. I decided to try side exit going forward. I learnt hearing protection for the wind would be standard MO.
  15. This is more what I'm looking for, it's a Harley Davidson cigar muffler. This is a reproduction from Lowbrow Customs. 1958-72 cigar muffler by Gasbox. OEM # 65235-58. Out of stock at this time. I haven’t looked everywhere. If it's typical Harley, it's meant to be hidden inside a chrome cover.
  16. Nor sure. But staying with 1600 and 1.75. Not using the original muff. Looking for something that won't get caught and rip off my wing. Wing ripoff proof. Not wanting to hijack, hoping I can find what I'm looking for in the suggestions here.
  17. Looking myself for 1 3/4" glass pack type or baffled traight pipes
  18. Are springs marked with the rating?
  19. You probably got more chick's with that bonnet scoop!
  20. For the cult of the green and gold, might go with your car's colours... Timex TW2W99100 60's inspired with high dome crystal, quartz, a pretty daily wearable. $180ish. Other colours available. I know, not a race watch. But, hey, that colour! https://timex.com/products/marlin-chronograph-tachymeter-40mm-leather-strap-watch-tw2w98900?nb_klid=01HNC12JC1BXFXFWKWS1J71P1W&_kx=eMqJEAhv1x58DHxCXHzla7a76WdyKQ8SyEB3Pp7oSBR-3LCZk18XQeEh8aaepEzE.VM8xiK
  21. So... I have a head, an uprated I believe, flat face, definitely not pre xflow, and I buy these standard ratio rockers on ebay. One thing I an wondering is, with those spacers, how well does everything get the slippery stuff? Good enough for brass guides to get showered on? I'm considering brass guides because the head is over ported already (not my doing) breaching two exhsust side head bolt holes, already needing sleeves there. Thinking of sending it to Ivey to build into something useful. Any Idea what that going to run? Still a good possibility its pooched. A built alloy head is an option. Who sells those here?
  22. If going this route, assuming you're attaching to fiberglass, I would use the hook with wider hole spacing https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecID=757
