  1. I don’t recall ever seeing this many Sevens for sale on eBay at the same time: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lotus-Super-Seven-Caterham-Seven-480-Caterham-Seven-480-SV-Chassis-2-0-Duratec-6-Speed-Manual-15-/291142055976?forcerrptr=true&hash=item43c96b3828&item=291142055976&pt=US_Cars_Trucks http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lotus-Super-Seven-V6-SC-2005-Brunton-Super-Stalker-3-8L-V6-Lotus-7-Replica-0-60-in-3-sec-racing-/281344309099?forcerrptr=true&hash=item41816d776b&item=281344309099&pt=US_Cars_Trucks http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lotus-Super-Seven-sports-1974-Lotus-super-seven-7-series-4-real-Lotus-/281342547893?forcerrptr=true&hash=item41815297b5&item=281342547893&pt=US_Cars_Trucks http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lotus-Super-Seven-Standard-bench-seat-1997-Caterham-7-Classic-/181415434018?forcerrptr=true&hash=item2a3d33d722&item=181415434018&pt=US_Cars_Trucks http://www.ebay.com/itm/Replica-Kit-Makes-Lotus-7-Seven-Roadster-Replica-Roadster-Lotus-7-Seven-Roadster-Replica-/141294502894?forcerrptr=true&hash=item20e5cf03ee&item=141294502894&pt=US_Cars_Trucks http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lotus-Super-Seven-base-coupe-1962-Lotus-7-Seven-Not-a-Replica-/131187312922?forcerrptr=true&hash=item1e8b5f891a&item=131187312922&pt=US_Cars_Trucks http://www.ebay.com/itm/Replica-Kit-Makes-Lotus-7-Roadster-Lotus-7-Roadster-Replica-/191186587791?forcerrptr=true&hash=item2c839bd08f&item=191186587791&pt=US_Cars_Trucks http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lotus-Super-Seven-Caterham-SuperLight-R-Caterham-SuperLight-R450-Carbon-Fiber-Leather-3-Piece-Wheels-/111359974130?forcerrptr=true&hash=item19ed925af2&item=111359974130&pt=US_Cars_Trucks http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lotus-Super-Seven-S2-1962-Lotus-Super-Seven-S2-1500cc-Non-crossflow-A-real-one-/171330094073?forcerrptr=true&hash=item27e411c3f9&item=171330094073&pt=US_Cars_Trucks
  2. Tis' true. :iagree:
  3. Jeff, Hope all is going well with the Birkin. I found another photo of your car back from when it was brand spanking new. I was over visiting Dick Brink one day and we took the car to lunch. I took this photo in the parking lot of the restaurant. . . . .
  4. Now, everybody!:smilielol5:
  5. . . . . fun in any language. :auto: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7X3596lvFtw . . . .
  6. What about an evening shot (post track sessions) with all cars gathered around the start line. Take the shot from the flag station if the structure is high enough. Or maybe NJMP has a bucket truck handy.
  7. Mike Bearden owned a Birkin with clams. He has since sold the car, but here are couple of links to prior 'for sale' posts regarding the car: http://www.lotusowners.com/ForSale/MB_Birkin_For_Sale/ http://www.usa7s.net/vb/showthread.php?t=8619 Mike's cell is listed in both of those adds. You might give him a call and pick his brain or pm here; MBEARDEN
  8. Been watching the videos of NJMP . . . the Cat's seem to be able to hold there own with noooo problem.
  9. More simplicity . . . . you're killing me. :svengo: Is absolutely going to be a fun event. Looking forward to all the fun and excitement in July. :flag: . . . . .
  10. There's also the mention of Lotus withdrawing from Le Mans.
  11. Both! :jester: On a more serious note, Jack Banker (forum name: jbanker) grafted Caterham clams (very nicely, I might add) to his Stalker. You might shoot him a pm for ideas. Here's a link with photos. Browse down to around mid-to-bottom page for the clams: http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=807&g2_page=5 . . . . .
  12. Dang it, Michael! Just when I thought I had this all figured out, you have to go and throw sensible logic on table. Now I have to cancel the order on my hand-crank-and-battery-equipped trailer, eat the huge deposit and start over again with another manufacturer that's more than willing to rob me blind. :banghead: You could have waited till July to bust my bubble. :willy_nilly: . . . . . .
  13. Revisiting a 2007 gathering, could we get similar group shots?
  14. I might be able to scrounge up some Storker/V8 paraphernalia, just in case anyone is interested in making a move to the 'Dark' side.
  15. If I drive a Porsche, will Mr. Westermann also give me the finger? :jester: Welcome aboard!
  16. Ditto on having the diff set up properly. I did rear end rebuilds/diff changes on three of the last five cars I've owned and had a professional set up the diff each time. It's money well spent.
  17. Glad you're marriage is no longer in peril. Okay, what did you do transmission-wise; new, rebuild, etc.?
  18. It's designed to give and take in the traction arena and, at the same time, eliminate Croc from the competition; it's a turbine-powered Gatling gun. :smilielol5: . . . . . or a differential. Pick one. :jester:
  19. Yessir, the most definitely would have been spectacular! :auto: . . . . . :ack: . . . . :dupe:
  20. Staying at the Fairfield also.
  21. I was hoping they would cut a hole in the wall and drive it straight out of the office. :hurray:
  22. This thread seems to be mainly about the issue of cost, not the car. The Caterham is a fantastic automobile. It's one of the few cars in the world that does exactly what it was designed to do, and it does it very well. If I could afford a second Seven, I'd seriously consider a Cat. However, thinking back, I did mentioned this idea once in the presence of my Storker; it growled and showed me its teeth. :smilielol5: Indeed, Al . . . . indeed! :auto: . . . .
  23. Villa vs. Suite . . . . . both have a kitchen sink. :jester: http://www.njmp.com/accomodations/
  24. Thanks for sharing.
